Cute idea, but the design could use improvement. It has a hint of a honey smell which I love it's natural and not overpowering. Pricing is decent but wish the clasp that holds the wax was a little bigger, it ends up cutting into everytime you try to place it in the wax. The wax is a bit too stiff so it cracks a lot and has to be fixed upright constantly. I gave it 4 stars because it's cute, still useable, and comes with decorative little bees to place on the candle if you want.

This was purchased for a Christmas gift so recipient hasn't received it yet but I just wanted to write a review because the item is so cute! It came larger than I expected, packaging was on point and it also came with little bees for decorating. I can't wait to gift it and see the look on her face light up when she opens the box! She loves bees and candles so this gift is a no brainer. It's also refillable which is a great because when the candle is exhausted, you won't have to wonder what to do with the base. Base seems sturdy and well made too. I think I will order myself one too! For $22, you can't go wrong!

The only thing with this item is that before you pull the candle through you’ll need to warm the candle up so that it’s more malleable to be able to unravel it

I saw this in the background of a vlog from TheCottageFairy channel and loved the look of it. I like bee motifs … and it is useful if there is a power cut. The wax tubing may be a bit stiff so care should be taken when unraveling the wax to place in the clip. PS: I didn’t use the plastic ‘bees?’ that came with it.
