This is fabulous I don’t usually gush about toilet seats but this so nice so shiny and husband had it fitted in no time at all. It looks very swanky in my bathroom better than the rubbish one I had before so would highly recommend it. It fits fine and doesn’t move like some of them do. Very pleased with this toilet seat. Also the quality is great.

The difficult bit for me was removing the old seat as the fixings had seized. Well it had been installed 30 years ago! This seat was fairly easy to fix. (78 year old woman) it says there are “two options”, top fixing or bottom fixing. Tried top first but could not force the “rubber plug” into the porcelain hole. I didn’t want to damage it, so I opted for bottom fixing, which was very straightforward but you have to screw it up pretty firmly but not too tightly, before locating the seat holes onto the hinge prongs or the hinges will move when you you use the quick release button to take the seat off again before the really tight screwing and placement of the hinge caps. A bit of trial and error did it. I have the seat positioned much better than it is in the product video! (Where it doesn’t cover the bowl at the front.) All in all satisfactory. Wish that the options were presented as choice, because I wasted some time and sanity thinking was I supposed to do top or bottom fixing? I didn’t really want soft close specially, but they mostly were, and this one was a moderate price and looked good. Hope I never have to do it again. I chose white, but it does make my 1990s champagne porcelain look a bit dingy. Update. One and a half years later. Very wobbly seat now, and one side seems impossible to tighten. I try.

This toilet seat fits perfectly. Easy instructions great value for money. Cleans so easy. Good quality. I bought two for my Mum replacement for the wood ones, they are so much better for her. Soft closing so they do not slam shut

Great product. Bought to replace a Roper Rhodes Zenith (now discontinued), and so much better. Very easy to fit, doesn’t slide around as long as you tighten the screws fully, confortable to sit on, neat appearance as it doesn’t overhang the bowl, All in all, a good buy. As for durability, we will see The old RR seat lasted 10 years, but was almost twice the price.

I bought two of these. The seats themselves are solid but as always, the screw mechanism is just not strong enough. It lasted 10 mins before my young kids loosened the seat and it slides all over the place despite tightening the screws within an inch of their lives. The adult one is holding, but I now find myself spending more cash to get new screws which may hopefully do a better job.

Really smart looking - but very plastic - the lid is thin and fragile. Bought two - and only had them for a few weeks. Had a male visitor who used the loo and pushed the lid down and the toilet seat broke - big hole in a new so called super strong seat. Feel really disappointed - have to buy a replacement. Despite tightening both seats swing around and move
