TENT & GEAR SOLARPROOF Spray-on Waterproofer 2.5L with Spray-Head Attachment, Tent Waterproofing Spray and UV Blocker for Synthetic Textiles, Adds Water Repellency, Increases Fabric Strength

This nikwax Tent & Gear solarproof waterproofing spray 2.5l worked a treat on my outdoor waterproof motorcycle cover, the cover had started to let water through and hadn't had water beading on top for a few weeks prior to this , I purchased nikwax tent&gear solarproof and applied it to the cover as it was by the spray gun provided and used a new & clean 2inch paintbrush to spread run off and the cover instantly started beading water on top the next day when it rained and so far has been good in heavy rain a month or more later . I also used this on an 12 year old weise psycho jacket and pants I had previously been soaked through in while riding in torrential rain and after a few days left drying the torrential rain was mostly kept out so it can even bring an old well used bike suit back to good weather proof gear . I mainly sprayed and brushed it on this suit so hopefully with another layer on weak areas which happened to be around the elbows on this suit jacket are recoated maybe it will once again be weather tight . I had previously tried other products on this suit too with no luck but this nikwax seems to have almost worked compared with the others so it is probably the best one I've tried so far and it does deserve 5 stars so far . No colour change on any products I've applied this too either it does leave a smell but it's not over powering or bad . Hopefully this review helps anyone looking to be watertight while riding camping or any out door activities .

Previous reports stated the pump didn't work. I found the adjuster on the end was wound up to stop the flow so, a quick adjustment and all was fine. I have the exact leather hat it claims to waterproof and so tested it on that first. Beads of water rolled off the brim but I'm guessing the crown needs a second coat. The awning, the reason for purchase, wasn't too bad as beading occurred anyway after wetting - in accordance with instructions so it wasn't totally water logged to begin with. I didn't bother testing but at least its had a good coating and I plan to take it with me anyway so if it does leak I'll have it with me

Arrived very quickly, in fact two days early. Sadly sprayer element broke immediately but didn't stop me being able to use the waterproofer. Went on easily. Except the sprayer side, very happy with product. Usually buy Fabsil so will see if its as good when the bad weather comes.

Followed the instructions and it seems to have worked, fit the hose on the tents after applying. Have done 3 tents (2 x 4 person and 1 x 2 person) and still have some left.

Used the supplied spray which only took a few minutes to cover my caravan Awning with the water proof liquid. Now rain just runs off my awning. Very good product. 5 stars

Can't comment on the product but applying it is not a bit an easy processes.Spray evenly to the outside of the fabric the info states, no matter how I tried to adjust the spray nozzle all that came out was a thin line of liquid, it would have taken forever and had to use a cloth to apply it.

This actually works. That's the short version.The long version is that our tent is a Coleman Valdes 6XL air tent. It's (5 or 6 years old) has had a lot of use, and when it is raining the air-supports inside would have water running down. The water would pool at the bottom and a significant amount of water would come in from the back wall as well. After a few treatments from this spray, we had a week camping in Wales where it rained consistently for multiple nights, and no leaks at all. I was sceptical but this is absolutely great value for money. We were ready to buy a new tent and this has given us at least another year of use, I'll be treating it again next year.

Dazu wurde etwa 1,25L benötigt. Eine 2. Anwendung wird nach dem Trocknen vorsorglich vorgenommen.Überschüssiges Nikwax umbedingt abwischen sonst drohen Flecken!
