Was initially happy with purchase but beware malfunctioning part that will make unusable
I currently own a standard Dyson and a Eufy robot vaccuum, and purchased this Onson cordless about a month ago. The standard Dyson is on its way out (weaker suction power, hair would get wrapped up in floor cleaning roller, etc.) so was not great for multiple reasons. Enter the Onson cordless which has been a revelation. I have been vacuuming a little every week to keep our home clean and it take no time at all to do this regularly and I am pleased with this purchase overall (which is 1/4 the price of a Dyson v11 Absolute) with its low noise level, great suction power, easy to empty dispenser, and cordless feature.Pros:1) Cordless feature is a marvel and it is such a light vacuum though the battery/handle end is quite heavy so you can't just lean this easily and expect it to stay upright--it may be helpful to find a place for the long attachment and keep the handle out only at an outlet where it charges.2) Multiple attachments (furniture vacuum, corner piece, and standard floor + rolling piece with long attachment)3) Light on the floor piece is unexpectedly helpful: it really does illuminate areas of dustiness and draws attention to what needs to be vacuumed.4) Double filters provided so that you can clean one and use the other while it dries completely5) Swiveling head allows you to easily vacuum around furniture legs, into corners, etc. very easily to help you get to the harder-to-reach areas of your home. The only (very slight) complaints I would make about this product are the following:1) Hair that is vacuumed up does get stuck up in the top part of the collection area, so emptying it out regularly is helpful, and sometimes you have to use a helping hand to empty the dust that gets "stuck" in the upper area.2) Even at the lower suction power, this vacuum really does only run for roughly 1 hour so you do have to charge it pretty regularly but I really do not want to be vacuuming for much longer than an hour at one time, so it helps me vacuum piecemeal, especially if I do it regularly.Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and regret nothing. If you are looking for an excellent vacuum but are not looking to shell out $500 for a Dyson, this is a worthy replacement in my opinion. This will not last forever, obviously (though fingers crossed that it lasts at least a couple years), but neither will the Dyson, so this one will not put a ridiculous dent in your account like the latter would.Update 10/17/18: changing my original 5-star review to a 1-star due to malfunctioning parts that have made this product basically unusuable for regular cleaning. The floor attachment has a latch that holds the roller in place, but after opening it to release the roller for cleaning, the plastic mechanism has begun malfunctioning and no longer holds the roller in place. As a result, the roller does not stay in place and makes a terrible noise so the floor piece cannot be used to clean effectively, making this product useless for regular cleaning other than for corners, ceilings and my furniture. So I am out the money spent on this and will have to begin the search again for a new vacuum as I am skeptical about getting this item again just to replace the floor piece. Overall: may be worthy purchase for its price vs. buying a $500 dyson cordless absolute, but do purchase with caution and make sure to get the insurance offered to protect your purchase.

I strongly recommendation against this item
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I gave this vacuum a month before reviewing it. All I can come up with is that it’s junk. It doesn’t clean up well from wood or tile floors. It tries but the suction is not strong enough so much of what has been “vacuumed” comes right back out of the head of the vacuum when the motor is turned off. I just attempted to vacuum around the cabinet where our cat littler box is and all of the litter made a pile of litter once I turned the machine off. Barely lifts dust and lint off the floor. Just very weak.Updated-I am in contact with the company and their trouble shooting has been no help. Vacuum still does not pick up well at all.

This thing doesn't suck -- literally
I really wanted to love this vacuum because of the price, but I'm not impressed. Overall, its easy to use/assemble, very light weight, gets in and around things with ease. Cons, it doesn't have much suction power, VERY short run time, not good on high pile carpet.Cons: It feels super cheap and flimsy. I can get over that if it works well, but it does not. The run time is SO short, which I knew, but didn't expect it to be a problem, but I can hardly get my whole first floor done before it dies because you HAVE to have it on "max" power to get even a slight suction. I have to go over areas a bunch of times to get it nice and clean. And just forget about using it on high pile carpet. Stick to hardwood and maybe a low pile rug only.Pros: Super easy to put together, very lightweight, easy to charge and store, good price. Super easy to maneuver around -- really gets into the corners.

Dumps debris back onto the floor when hung up.
I wanted to love this vacuum so bad. And at first I did! It had great suction and seemed to be doing a great job. THEN, I went to hang it up on the charger and the debris came pouring back out the brush roll and I found that it had even left a trail of junk on the floor between where I’d finished vacuuming and where the charger was located as I walked. Poor design.

This vacuum puts the suc in suction...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. What is up with all these five star reviews?! This is an extremely subpar vacuum. I replaced my big, bulky target purchase ($40) and thought I was upgrading with this vacuum. Unfortunately, cons far outweigh the pros on this little number.Cons:1. Using a back and forth motion doesn’t work. When you roll through a mess on hardwood and then try to back up, the vacuum just sweeps part of the mess towards you. You literally need to just make one long line of vacuuming (kind of like mowing a lawn in a spiral fashion) if you don’t want to do several roll through’s in the same dang area.2. When you turn off the vacuum - dirt spills out of the bottom. Every time. Even happens when you lift the vacuum while it’s still suctioning.3. Forget suctioning on carpet. Just not strong enough.Pros:1. Lightweight and easy to store. Two stars because, well, it is a vacuum and it does suck up the mess (though not as effectively as my big, bulky $40 vacuum).

Disappointing Knockoff
I thought that the barely disguised knock-off aspect of this vacuum would mean that Onison at least tried to make it work. I was wrong. I blindly followed the reviews here and excitedly spent my money on the vacuum. It is completely useless. It does not work on carpet if there is more than a light surface dusting to clean up. I live in an area with scarce pine trees, but on occasion we get a needle or three in the house. It cannot handle them, or if it does decide to suck one up, it immediately clogs at the base and I have to take it apart to get the clog out. It barely works on hardwood assuming the debris is lighter and smaller than a bread crumb.I tested to see if it can suck a tiny, hollow bb off of my hand with completely sealed suction. It can't. Save your money and buy the Dyson. You really do get what you pay for.
