Clippers by WAHL 100 Year Anniversary Clipper Limited Edition

Having been left with ever-growing locks thanks to the COVID-19 lockdown, I bought this all-metal, cordless clipper to trim my hair down.It feels incredibly well-made and is weighted just right for solo use - the latter counting for a lot as I was terrified about being able to reach the back of my head. The clipper is also easy to clean and looks incredibly retro-stylish in my bathroom.Using a clipper for a self-cut does seem like a big risk but after devouring how-to videos galore online - and buying a set of Wahl guard combs similar to the ones my hairdresser uses - I now have a neat, textured cut which my workmates keep complimenting on Zoom.

I bought this item mainly due to current covid restrictions. I chose this set of clippers because I am a sucker for good quality items. I also Iove the timeless design and the industrial aesthetic. I was a little anxious when reading some of the reviews claiming "fake" and used citing hair in them or signs of use. I have to report that my item was exactly as described and although from a third party seller; I have to say the customer care and assurances from them was exemplary. I love the product, it does exactly what I wanted it to and is top quality.

Love them! The weight is spot on for me, and the design is classic and class! Others have mentioned thought they looked like reconditioned ones - all I can say is, the ones I got are spanking new!!

I absolutely love these clippers, the weight and handling are perfect. unfortunately in just under a year in they developed a fault with the battery, my (my colleague who purchased a pair at the same time are going strong). I contacted the seller who dealt with the problem straight away. Within 2 weeks I received a brand new pair, even in lockdown.I would highly recommend this seller. When this product arrived it looked as though it had already been opened. The red protective clip for the blade was inside the box instead of on the actual clippers themselves. Once I tried charging this unit it would not work. This cordless unit DOES NOT WORK WITHOUT HAVING IT PLUGGED IN! I charged them several separate times to make sure they were charged and once unplugged they do not work.

The product does exactly what you need it to. It is expensive but is quality and easy to use. The only niggle was having to buy the clip guards separately although in the product blurb it is clear, so no real issues. Love it.

I am so happy with these clippers.They're a bit heavier than your seniors or magic clippers, but that is to be expected as it is metal. I love the fact that they are a bit heavier.Great for smaller hands like mine, battery life is really good too. If I have a busy day ahead I can rely on it not to die half way through a hair cut.

This is beautiful, a design classic and if it lasts for years then it will be in a design hall somewhere. To make the classic Whal wirelessd, genius. However it does not cut anywhere near as close as my old Whal which I had for about 18 years and simply changed the blades every now and then. With that one I could do a reverse use and cut clean zero lines and I could also have my head literally bald. This cannot got anywhere near as close so I am looking at buying another head clipper. For the money it is not acceptable. Also the power brick is a very stupid design. It doesn't have as proper UK plug so you have to plug a huge brick in at a right angle. Makes zero sense. Looks over function.The most beautiful Whal clippers ever with the least amount of usability.
