This scooter has the basics. Excellent value for your money. Sturdy and comfortable for 3 wheels. Assembly is pretty easy, but for a person who cannot bend or has some movement restriction it can be difficult.I purchased it for my mom, who has problems walking long distances. I am the one doing the assembly and disassembly when leaving the house. Once you disassemble everything, each piece is not as heavy. All pieces fit in a standard sedan trunk. I do have a smart car, and pieces do fit, stacking them up. So far, battery charge is pretty good, since we have not yet ran out of charge out in our errands.Easy to use. Speed can be regulated, which is a plus for me. I relieved we were able to find the right speed for her quickly, where she wasn't too slow to keep up with me, nor too fast she would have an accident.If you have not taken a ride before on one of these, I would recommend driving it, starting on the lowest setting and work your way up, until the speed is right for you. It can go fast! For now, my mom has not gone up from #5 on the speed setting (goes up to #10).The only minor con I can find is that it has no horn to keep people out of the way or an alert beep when backing up. Problem solved with a cheap bike bell. As for the rest, we are real happy for our purchase!

I cannot say enough good things about this scooter. Worth every penny. I bought this for my elderly mother. Went on a cruise with it and this thing is a lifesaver. It is low profile, so easy to get through crowds. Easy to dismantle for transport. Not that heavy. Charge lasts a full day with moderate use.

I purchased this scooter in the hopes it will allow me to be more mobile and enjoy life more. I ordered it last week and recieved it about 6 days later (Aug. 18, 2016). I am widowed and disabled and was led to believe this would be easy to both assemble and disassemble, it took me three days to get it out of the box, I have a very tiny, cramped apartment and space to open it and pull it out to assemble required very strategic logic, with that done the assembly was next and the manuel that was included was really no help at all. Also, parts of the machine were so heavy for me it made it impossible for me to get it all together at once and I was so tired I had to try another time when my energy returned. When finally assembled it was now time for charging which took a couple of hours for the charger to turn green, now came the final exciting test, to put the key in and start moving! Nothing happened. I pushed the lever forward to see if it would move and then I would park the machine by the front door ready to access the world, but it did not budge. It DID however make a suspicious 'click' noise when I moved the lever, it seemed to come from the battery area. Tried again several times same thing happened. So, now I have a huge machine I cannot move in the middle of my living room which is problematic for me due to my disablity and it could cause me to fall with serious consequences. To disassemble at this time seems counterproductive, not to mention a very tiresome thought for me. Needless to say when I purchased this scooter I did so in great faith and now I feel crushed at the expense (I am on my social security) and now have a useless object that is also a danger in my home. Very dissatisfied. I don't know if they offer tech support, but at this juncture I am open to any suggestions.

Just right for shopping trips. I am a stroke patient and couldn't enjoy going with my wife on shopping trips. This baby does the trip. Great customer service by seller. Mine had one anti-tip wheel broken when we unpacked it. One email and I made a call and the replacement wheel was here in 3 or 4 days. The scooter worked fine on our trips. Good product and affordable. I recommend it for anyone on a budget or that needs a scooter for in home and shopping trips.

Not satisfied. When we took it out of box and put it together, it would not move. We took it apart and tried again, finally plugged up batteries, then after a few hours of charging, it moved a little. Nothing on speeds 1-5, and a very sluggish start in speeds 6-10 and barely moving - felt like it was in speeds 1-5. Felt like it had trash in gas, but no gas tank - so I called manufacturer. They sent parts and a technician, who replaced parts and worked on it. The technician was very thorough and professional is why I gave it 2 stars. Finally got it moving in lower gears, but still very sluggish to start. It has a delay, but should not be jerking. The manufacturer rep told me this is natural in a scooter of this size and with the smaller batteries. Somehow, that doesn't sound right, but he is the rep, so guess he knows what he is talking about. Cannot give it more stars, because it is still sluggish, just not as bad as it was before repaired. Battery doesn't last very long on a charge. Really like the size, but that's about all and not worth an extra star. Won't be buying another one like it.

I bought this for my mother. I love the idea that it's portable so we can take her places. It is easy to set up and transport. However, it has a small engine and a small battery. So, you have to run it every day and charge it every day so it will operate properly. I was a little disappointed at first, but now I'm glad I bought it.
