As easy to install as your existing rod will allow. The most difficult part was attaching the pulls, which was about as hard and putting a key on a keyring.My old screens were too long and bent all to heck as a result. I ordered these an inch shorter than the old so they don't touch the bottom. There are rings across the top for the rod, and one attached slightly lower on the side for the pulls. I don't actually like it there--it was attached to the rod ring on my old set. I may change it, but you might consider both ways and decide what will work best for you. I still felt like had to to tug them along just a little, probably because my rod is old. I found that putting just a teeny tiny bit of silicone grease on the rod made them slide effortlessly.

Had to replace some mesh that was pretty bent & tangled. This was a perfect-fit replacement. Super-easy to install. Do yourself a favor and listen to the other reviewers telling you to install the handles before final installation. It saves a LOT of time. I didn't listen and it took me forever to get the first one on after installation. Needless to say, I followed directions for the second panel. Otherwise, excellent replacement. It even has the middle fasteners (mid-length on the outside ends) so the curtain doesn't open from the outside. Nice touch. Great price & Prime Shipping. Highly Recommended!

Had to ditch the old screens as they were all bent and a handle was missing. I’m very happy with this purchase so far. Good quality and a perfect fit. They look great slide easy and most importantly keep the embers in the fireplace.

I wish I had ordered about 1/2" longer, but it was a nice replacement for a worn-out, raggedy old screen. Was easy to install. Merely removed a couple of holding screws near the middle of my existing screen which allowed me to remove the rod from the fireplace. Definitely install the handles prior to installing the new screen. It was still slightly difficult, but would have been far worse with them already up and in place.

Absolutely love this product. It’s so sturdy and slides open easily. The rings are plentiful so it hangs beautifully. I had no idea the old screen was so bad until we put these in.
