Wee, Wee! You Will Love This Book!
Quick! Quick! Quick! Buy this book, laugh 'til you snort, then tell all your friends about it! Whether you live in the city or the country, own a pet or not, you need this for a truly wonderful "pig-me-up"!!! I wanted to read it slow and savor each chapter, but wound up reading the whole book, straight through. I know my family thought I was insane, laughing 'til I cried, then reading them snippets that probably made no sense to them out of context, but some of the stories were just TOOOOOOO good to keep to myself! The author has a fantastic way with words. Kudos to you, Matt Whyman, for sharing your piggy-pets' antics with us! We have raised calves and goats and chickens and guineas and ducks and even three newborn groundsquirrels, but no pigs so far. Thank you for sharing with us not only the "cuteness factor", but also the reality of the care and time (and endless messes) that go into raising any animal. Purchase this book fast--it will be your laugh for the day!

Darling Book Perfect for All Piggy Lovers
This is the most adorable loving book about piggies. It's really cute and realistic. I have two piggies myself. I also was mislead about their size and they ended up being completely different sizes. They also have very different personalities even though both are girls. One is a true mini pot belly pig and one is a standard who was sold as a mini. I keep them in the house with my other animals.

Oink:My Life with Mini-Pigs book review
It's not what I expected at all I thought this book would focus more on the pigs rather then the life of the author.I assumed that there would be funny or cute little things the pigs did the author would mention, but alot of times the author thought the pigs were a pain. However there are cute pictures of the pigs including in the book and in the end the author realized how much he loved the pigs and they were part of the family.

Cute Story
This book was amusing. My husband and I are on a waiting list for a mini pig and I read this hoping for some insight to what we should expect. There are some things we luckily won't have to go through like the author did, such as the permits, since we live in the USA but it did give me some idea of what to think about before bringing the piglet home.I liked the book overall, but it was too easy of a read. I probably wouldn't have read it if I wasn't preparing for my own piglet.

At least I learned a lesson
This book was just amusing enough to make me want to keep reading, but there was never a "laugh out loud" moment as I'd seen in other reviews. The only likeable person in the book was the neighbor, Tom. I didn't care for anyone else and I felt sorry for their house pets. The author's children are snotty and disrespectful towards their father. One has a sleepover that gets out of control and the parents just indulge it and allow themselves to be inconvenienced by the kids. The author's wife buys these two mini-pigs after having done little to no research about them. Then she just dumps the responsibilities for them onto the author, who never wanted them in the first place. She's critical of everything he does and has the audacity to get angry when he finally tells her she isn't helping. The author bends over backwards trying to make his demanding wife happy and I couldn't have agreed more when "Tom" told him he needed to grow a set of ...... More than once, I wanted to shake him and tell him to "man up."The family cat has to be medically sedated, allegedly because it cannot handle the stress that the mini-pigs have brought into the household. The author complains about the near-catatonic state that the cat is in, but it takes weeks after the pigs are moved outside before it dawns on anyone to reduce the medication or, heaven forbid, take the cat off of it entirely. The family dog is too much for them to handle and rather than do any kind of behavior training, they ban the poor thing to the mud room where she gets to watch the happenings of the family but never actually become a part of it. I felt sorry for the dog. And the cat.I did learn a lesson, however. Before reading this book, I wanted mini-pigs. I believed they stay as small as you see in pictures, but the author did a good job of explaining that they get very big and can be quite destructive. I'll have to stick with dogs.I would recommend this book if you can get it from a library or from lendle.com, but I wouldn't pay for it.

I enjoyed it even if I didn't relate to his conclusion ...
This was a very entertaining book about a man and his wife who bought Mini pigs after moving to the country from the city. I enjoyed it even if I didn't relate to his conclusion in the end. But I'm sure many other people will relate.

Hilarious! I could totally relate to this guy (as a mini pig owner). Luckily mine stayed small! Great read for anyone, not just pig lovers!
