LAURA GELLER Baked Double Take Powder Foundation, Matte Finish – Deep

Product came with a makeup sponge but I prefer using a makeup brush. Makeup leaves your face simply FLAWLESS!! Your face simply GLOWS, and I'm a fan for life. I finally found what I call my "Makeup Best Friend" #GLOWGIRL

I am a person of color, not light skinned, but not too dark skinned. I ordered the Baked double take, since the photo looked like it may match my skin tone. However, it was much too dark for my skin tone! The other colors were much too light! Based on this observation, I gave a one star for the product!

It came perfectly packaged and sealed, in a timely fashion but I was greatly disappointed to find there was no dual sided applicator sponge in my compact. I wanted to try this product for a long time but couldn't make myself spend the money. I ended up ordering it for my 60th birthday. I'm not happy my package wasn't complete but I must be honest.. I tried it with a Kabuki brush as suggested in the advertisement and I found it to be amazing. I chose the deep color and it matched my skin perfectly! I first applied my primer then went for very light coverage, amazed that with barely a dusting it hid blemishes and minor imperfections. Eager to see what would happen, I applied a bit more for full coverage making sure I lightly dabbed fine lines and wrinkles per directions,even he terrible turkey waddle under my neck. The results are amazing! It is not heavy or cakey to me! Thank you for making me look 20 years younger on my birthday Laura Geller! It's light weight, feels barely there and lasts all day with no shine and minimal coverage. Amazing product!

I bought this because it is highly marketed for mature and aging skin, but it did the exact opposite of what was promised. Instead of blurring, it settled directly into my fine lines and made my pores look twice as large. I tried prepping my face with a heavy moisturizer and primer, but it still looked incredibly dry, patchy, and cakey within minutes. It behaves like a cheap, heavy face powder rather than a weightless foundation. I will not be purchasing this again.

I have ordered 3 of these foundation powders and 2 were cracked and unable to use! Good luck with getting the powder delivered intact!

This powder was light, so felt quite nice on the face. It's more like a loose powder, which made it very messy. The color did not match my skin, so I had to return it. Not sure if I'll order again in another color, because I'm looking more for a pressed powder.

Ok, so, here's my verdict about these 2 powders; 09 deep and 08 Tan, that I've used. 09 deep stinks. I cldnt use it at all. It blends in very well but the smell put me off. My face has to smell nice or smell free. Don't wanna be walking around smelling like dead rat 🙄. 08 Tan is very nice. Blends in very well like 09 but has a very light nice fragrance which tend to perceive when you apply it but once you've applied it, you don't smell it anymore so it's not in your face. But how do some of the powders from same manufacturers smell and others with different shades don't 💁🏻‍♀️? I find that strange tho. Same with concealers too. Colour is exactly as shown in the advert pic. Was gonna add a video but I realised it was coming out lighter and that the advert one was true to colour.
