Above average mass produced peanut butter at a reasonable price
I didn't do a side by side taste test, but based upon my recollection this seems to be at least as good as Skippy (yeah, I know - low bar), and in the ballpark of better brands. This is mass produced, smooth peanut butter, so you should know what you're getting. It's smooth (no stirring needed) and it has some of sugar added. You should compare it with similar products. Don't complain because you're getting a different experience from the gritty, oily goop your local Whole Foods is offering; that's not what you're signing up for here. This is macro-brew peanut butter for the masses. The price seems to be very competitive, so it seems like a good value for what it is. UPDATE: After a year of supply chain issues, I finally got a chance to do a side by side taste test with this peanut butter vs. Jif. Jif seems to be widely regarded as the best mass-produced peanut butter, so this seemed like a worthwhile comparison. My taste test involved both eating straight peanut butter with a spoon (Don’t judge!), and on Carr’s table water crackers. Of course, I tasted with a fine Cabernet Sauvignon. Straight from the spoon, the Jif had a very smooth texture, while the Happy Belly was notably gritty and pasty in comparison. On a cracker this difference was imperceptible. Both had a strong and enjoyable peanut taste. Jif had a roasted peanut aftertaste that gave it a superior flavor profile, but this difference stands out primarily in side-by-side comparisons. You likely wouldn’t miss it otherwise. Bottom line: For the price, it’s hard to beat this peanut butter. You can serve it at wine tastings with Cabernet Sauvignon. You can spread it on toast. You can use it as ballast for your trans-oceanic sail. You can hurl it from parapets at invading armies. You can use jars of it as chips in your weekend poker games. You can feed it to your dog. You can feed it to your family. You can juggle jars of it in your side show performance for the circus. You can use it as a replacement for the softball at your firm’s weekend softball game (warning: you might be covered with peanut butter). You can use it for skeet shooting practice. You can use it for caulking in your bathroom or submarine. You can use it as a substitute for C4 on you next secret mission (caveat: may not actually explode). You could use it to stock your bunker. You can use it to deliver a child (caveat: this involves leaving the peanut butter in your glove box and calling a doctor). You can launch it into space (rocket not included).

Affordable and effective pb
Little less sweet than other name brands so that’s a plus! Freshness is average, definitely not the same as a Justin’s. Consistency is similar to any other brand and not too oily.

A creamy peanut butter with a unique texture
This peanut butter definitely tastes different from other brands, which I think is a good thing. I think it has much more texture, with almost a grittiness to the texture. I personally find this enjoyable in creamy peanut butter since it keeps it interesting, but people who want their peanut butter to be perfectly smooth might take issue with it. The ingredients are decent and nothing spectacular; it does contain added sugar and oil. This makes it so it is ready to eat without stirring, which is convenient for anyone who doesn't enjoy stirring peanut butter. I like all peanut butter and I think each brings something different to the table, so I think it's worth trying for a good price.

Good peanut butter at a great price. We go through so much peanut butter at our house and this is a no brainer. The whole family loves it.

Grainy
The texture is unpleasantly gritty, and it has a very bland, weak peanut taste.
