Special Education Teacher Approved!
By far, the best book you will ever purchase if you work in a school setting. I have worked in urban, inner city and rural districts and these strategies are, hands down, the most effective and are what you want documented for students to qualify in special education. It saves time for you and for the case conference team to determine eligibility.

I purchased this book a few years ago. It is AMAZING! Another instructor was using it in her program and as a colleague of hers I asked her for her opinion. Since this text came to me highly recommended by my colleague not only did I purchase a copy for myself, I also purchased several copies and shared with our staff.

Great resource, but not new!
Great resource, however I was not sent a new version even though that is what was advertised when purchased. The front cover is dirty and damaged as well as the binding. Very disappointed, especially for the amount spent on it. It looks very unprofessional.

Must have for teachers
I use this ALL the time. I bought it for class, and ended up using it in my actual career. This is great for special ed teachers or any teacher!

Extremely helpful
This book is extremely helpful in making accommodations, modifications and interventions. It should be required reading for all college students who are getting a teaching degree. The Table of Contents is written so that you can look up the weakness of the students (academic, behavioral, psychological, physical) you are concerned about, and then when you turn to that section, there are lots of appropriate and effective strategies for helping the student. I used this book almost every day when I taught Junior High reading.
