This knife was WAY more value than I ever expected. Out of this world egos blended with a HUGE chunk of well ground AUS 8 steel. Some people will knock the AUS 8 as an inferior steel but for what iam using it for I feel it's one of the very best knives you can get at this price point. The AUS 8 holds an edge well, sharpens easily and has the corrosion resistance iam looking for for the mountains of Colorado. You can do so much with this knife slice, cut, chop and batton (though it's a bit short for battoning) I reccomend this knife if you want a HARD user knife at an unbelievable price. Get em now before they realize what they have. As with all great knives the price WILL go up.

It was better than I had expected even though I own several CIMA blades. The knife was built like all CIMA knives, very thick and solid. I did have to sand the handle scale edges down as they were uncomfortable in your hand.Overall though I am going to purchase another one and am very pleased with it.
