these watches are amazing and the quality is fantastic
First of all, let me start by saying these are made from real wood. Prior to purchasing I saw a review from someone saying they were plastic? That’s incorrect. Second, these watches are amazing and the quality is fantastic. I’m sad I didn’t get one for myself. However, I know that my groomsmen and best man will dig them a lot!

Bummed
I was really excited to give this to my husband for his first Father’a day. He really loved it initially, but about 2 weeks after he received it as a gift it completely snapped. For no apparent reason. Really bummed because he really loved the watch and the engraving on the back. I should also make note that he was not doing an activity to make the watch break, he was simply letting our dogs outside and it fell off.

Face is too dark for old people
I got one for my dad, who loved the watch. However, the face of the watch is too dark for a 72 year old to read. Thought there was a light, but there was not. He will not let me return it because he doesn't want to not want me to bother with. But, I know it is hard for him to read.

Good looking watch
One thing I’m disappointed about is that this particular watch didn’t come with the wooden box engraved with “Best Dad Ever” on it- two of the other “Dad” themed engraved watches are listed to come with it. Just didn’t make sense why this one doesn’t. The watch face is DARK. If you have poor eyesight- this isn’t the one for you. The strap is your basic faux leather strap. Not the greatest quality but good enough for its price! The woodface is beautiful and it comes in a lovely black box with a black pillow to cushion it.

Wouldn’t recommend
I got two different watches. One for a father and one for a son. The one for my son I give 4-5 stars. It was very nice looking and usable. However, my dads was the complete opposite. Unable to read the back and even unable to read the time on the front because it’s to dark and the hands and numbers are so dark you can’t see it.

Great for the price!
This was a great purchase for my husbands bother and best man in our wedding!!! It is not the best of quality but is very sleek and is awesome for the price. Would recommend as a gift for any male who likes watches.
