The Daily Star (Volume 41) (Lucky Luke, 41)

Enduring Series
Even after at least 35 years since I first read a Lucky Luke book, it has never lost any of its charm. This volume falls right in line with its predecessors; simply put excellent. Crisp story, super characters and great layouts, as usual.

Not a bad post-Goscinny Lucky Luke
If I had to pick one of the post-Goscinny Lucky Luke volumes to read over again, this might be a good contender. The theme of newspaper publishing in the Old West obviously offered some potential. Somewhat confusingly, the main character, named Horace Greeley, has virtually nothing in common with the real, historical newspaperman of that name ... The plot, which involves repeated attempts to sabotage the newspaper, is a little tedious, but the gags aren't bad.
