A High Quality Supplement At A Decent Price
Calcium citrate is a highly absorbable form of calcium. KAL is a US brand known for quality products. KAL manufactures its products in GMP-certified facilities and are lab-verified for purity, potency, and identity, including checks for heavy metals and contaminants. I also supplement with NOW vitamin K and Naturewise vitamin D3 both purchased on Amazon. Vitamin K directs calcium absorption into bones rather than into blood vessels and soft tissues. Vitamin D3 boosts calcium absorption. I split my calcium intake into morning and night since the body can only absorb approximately 500mg of calcium at a time. So I take 1 calcium citrate with vitamin K and a glass of milk at noon and 2 calcium citrate tablet with 4 magnesium capsules (KAL) at night before going to bed with water. I take D3 with my multivitamin and two fish oil capsules in the morning along with a tablespoon of peanut butter to provide the fat necessary for the fat soluble vitamins to be absorbed.

I like this calcium because is 100% citrate which is best form of calcium that absorbs in your bones. I have osteoporosis.

These tablets are quite large, so you really need to take one at a time with a good bit of water (3 total for the daily 1200 mg), but it’s still better than having to take 5 or 6 of other brands.
