Not a bad buy
The quality is exactly what you’d expect for the price. I don’t trust the carabiner at all. It’s through a thinner rubber hole. I wouldn’t let it hang freely from something at all. It will protect the AirPods case from scratches and a shorter fall

I was a bit concerned about some of the bad reviews I read
I bought two of these cases for the Fire HD 6s my parents bought my 6-year-old twins for Chanukah. I was a bit concerned about some of the bad reviews I read, but this was absolutely the ONLY case I could find that was shipped via Amazon that looked like it would protect these devices enough for kids (the Poetic brand ones, or whatever they are called, are shipped from the seller, and there are too many reviews about not getting the product in a timely manner to ignore).I have to say I am very pleased. The Fires are very well protected. The hard case covering them seems sturdy, and the device snaps in tightly. This is also one of the few cases available right now that has a screen cover built in--and yes, it could be better quality, but this isn't an Otterbox-priced case, either.IMPORTANT NOTE: It is true that there are not good instructions available for installing the cover. I went to the link on the sticker on the outside of the packaging, and it showed how to install an iPad Air case by the same manufacturer. But seriously, all it takes is a little extrapolation to figure this one out too. One thing that is NOT obvious is that there is a plastic film on the *inside* of the screen cover as well as the outside. On one case I bought it was coming off a bit, which is the only reason I knew it was there--on the other case it was actually difficult to remove. If you don't remove this film, it will look like the plastic has dots all over it. Once you remove it, the screen protector is clear.SECOND IMPORTANT NOTE: I got one black and one blue for my boys. The blue really isn't blue--it's more teal. It's a bit feminine, actually. My boys happen to have no regard whatsoever for gender roles and will be quite happy with it, but if you're looking for a more masculine color, don't choose the blue.Overall I am giving the case 4 stars because while I do like it a lot, the screen protector could be better. My older son has an iBlason case for his HD 7 and I truly love that one (and am disappointed that they don't make one for the HD6). But this is definitely the best case on the market for the HD 6 for kids and I've very satisfied with my purchase. If my opinion changes for any reason I will update this review.

You've Heard it Before: "You Get What You Pay For."
Like most of you, I wanted a Catalyst case, but refused to pay $25 for a silicone wrapper for my AirPods and opted for this one instead. As the old cliche goes, of course, you get what you pay for.The main body of the silicone feels solid enough, although the red color is MUCH brighter red than it appears in the photos. The white accent is not molded into the case, and is a simple strap that wraps around the bottom of the red section. It seems solid enough now, but if you take the lightning port plug out constantly, it seems like it might be an issue. The biggest area of weakness is the silicone ring used to attach the carabiner: it's thin, and not reinforced, and I would honestly NEVER trust it to attach the case + AirPods to the outside of any bag. If you're going to keep it INSIDE of a bag, or in your pocket, it should be a decent enough case for a cheap-ish enough price.

Did not stand the washer test! Beware!!!
Just received this case and my first disappointment was the color, I ordered a yellow case and I in fact got a yellow case but it is much lighter in color than what is shown here on Amazon. But the real disappointment came during the washer test. I lined the bottom of this case with some tissue and inserted a couple of cut off q-tip swabs into a AirPods case and put it in the washer to test if this guy was actually waterproof. After all, it's the one and only reason I desire a case for my AirPods anyway. I've ruined two AirPods charging cases due to washing them.Well, this case failed the normal was cycle, The tissue that lined the bottom was dripping wet, and both q-tips inside the charging case were damp but not dripping wet.In my opinion, this case is falsely advertised.

Great case with a couple flaws...
Once you get the case on its a very nice tight fitting clean case. Does the job and protects the Kindle well. Here are my only gripes:1.The directions tell you to scan a QR code before you install, they make it very clear you need to watch the video on how to take the case apart/put together. When you go to watch the video the video is instructions for an iPad and its a different case? I figured it out on my own but made me waste about 10 minutes downloading a QR reader and watching a video that had nothing to do with the product i had in my hand at the time.2.Wish their was some small "handlebars" on the sides. My little guy holds it in his small hands and the case is so thin his thumbs have to press against the screen kicking on the on screen controls menu confusing and frustrating him, if there were some small handles on the sides that would fix the issue. The foam case that comes with the Kids Kindle Fire HD by default is thick enough so the kids thumbs don't press the screen but it doesn't protect the screen like this case does. All in all its a nice case, but if you have a 2 year old like we do you may want to think about a case with a better grip, if its a 3-4 year old child you probably will be fine with this.I've attached a photo of our little guy holding the Kindle, notice his thumbs...
