30 Gallon RV Fresh/Gray Water Tank 34" x 18" x 12" - BPA Free (30 Gallon)

I recently ordered the 16 Gallon RV Fresh/Gray Water Tank (24" x 15" x 10") to replace the tank in our camper, and I couldn’t be happier with our choice! My 42 Gallon tank works great and if I had to buy another one, I will the price is just right for my budget.

Smooth operation and solid feel.

We purchased the 10 gallon water tank for our van conversion, it fits well under the sink in our cabinets and it seems to be good construction. This gets 4 stars for one reason: the oddball sizes. the fill port is 1.25 inches which is a really weird size to try to find at the hardware store (it’s fine if you’re plumbing it to a full spout on the exterior of the vehicle but if you have different intentions it’s nearly impossible to plumb anything else off the fill spout. We ended up getting a mechanical tester plug that we can remove when we fill the tank up) the other three ports are 3/8 npt which proved to be challenging to find at the local hardware stores. Thankfully ace hardware had 3/8” mpt to 1/2” barb in stock but that was the last store I checked at. Kinda strange they wouldn’t use 1/2” npt which is much more available.

Well made and durable. Just the right size and configuration.

The plastic material is sturdy and there are enough fittings that the tank can be positioned height high or turned 90 degrees (on its side). The 3/8" fittings (3 total) come with threaded plugs and fill hole has an insert to seal the opening. I would like to see baffles inside the tank to reduce the water movement when transporting in a vehicle but not taking off points for none in the 30 gallon tank.

Right out of the box, it was bulging as much 2 inches on every single side. It does NOT lay flat! If you’re tight on space or ordered this to fit somewhere specific, keep in mind that the dimensions are going to be off by a couple inches because of the bulging and you must strap it down since it won’t lay flat. I pulled the red plug and it deflated a bit. But still bulging like crazy!
