Game Changer
We have a 35' travel trailer that we tow with a RAM 1500 v6. Tows fine but was dealing with a bit of squat. I researched these and found they had great reviews and figured for the price would give it a shot. Install was super easy ( follow the youtube videos for doing the hotdog bun method) and more time was taken getting setup with the jacks than anything else. I did the jacking by the hitch method and put jacks under the frame for safety. Took the wheels off and went at it. As mentioned i followed the hotdog bun method by taking the filler cap off and folding and ziptie together, then replaced the cap so it would hold shape. FYI, before starting, do as I did and let the bags and air line sit in the sun to soften up to make it easier to work with. They slipped right in, then I removed the air cap and cut the zip ties to allow to expand. I made sure in position and put the valve stem on - as mentioned in the directions DO NOT use any tools to tighten and just do finger tight. I ran the lines through the frame rail and also bought the aftermarket T made of metal versus the plastic one - cheap insurance. I drilled a whole near the license plate for the air filler. Total time was maybe 90min as I also took time to rotate my tires. Follow the directions to inflate to 5-7lbs and do an air leak check at all connections. First trip out was this past week and inflated to 45lbs it only squated 1.5in compared to closer to 5 without! Also, these aren't a lift system meaning when you inflate the bags your rear isn't going to lift up. It's more of a bump stop limiter. very impressed and since I lease the truck, i can remove them as needed - little more work as you have to follow the factory directions in removing the springs, but still not a huge deal.

Really love this system. My rear end has never looked better!
Easy to install. And WAY BETTER THAN TIMBREN. Timbren beat you to death if you're bouncing on them. These allow a cushion. Soft or stiff it's your choice and the price is great. I had these on my last truck for several years and got a new truck and it was the first thing I added. The air easily adjusts the height/support, so it's super easy to level out a load, camper etc. And they are made well too. Installation instructions seemed harder than it was. I jacked up the rear end at the axle (let the tire hang), which spreads the spring. I DID NOT disconnect the shock. I took the cap off the airbag, stood on it to get the air out of it, replaced the cap and shoved the flat bag between the spacing. Be sure to stand it on the right end. Once in there, you're not getting it out without cutting it. Once it's in, uncap and it inflates to fill the spring. Then connect the hose w hard spacer to protect the valve and run your line to the back bumper. I was able to thread the tubing in the frame and bring it out to a T joint and drilled a hole next to my plate for the valve to inflate both bags at once. I really like this system. Perfect for hauling a camper or heavy loads.

Excellent
Bought for a cross country move and they work amazing. Installation was moderate. Did not remove the spring for installation. So it was fairly easy. No complaints. Held up very well. Stopped the sag of the bed and kept the headlights on the road instead of pointing to the sky.

Spring removal not required for install
Amazing product. Easy to install. Engage 4 wheel drive and set parking break. Chalk tires to prevent rolling. Left rear of truck at hitch until tires are almost off the ground. Place Jack stand under hitch for additional safety measure. Lift tire with second Jack, just enough to get wheel off. Compress airbag and squeeze it through the spring. I used one zip tie to assist with holding the bottom as I fed it through. Be sure to pull the bottom of the bag down into the spring as you push the top in. Makes it way easier. I ran valve stem through bottom plate hole. Needed to lower spare and drill 1” hole in double walled plastic to allow enough space for nut and lock washer through. Air up your bags and you’re done. I put 15 psi in mine and can’t get over the difference in ride. Feels like my diesel Titan HD! No more bounce or body roll. No doubt this will improve my towing control substantially!

Good
Love it pretty easy install, 2025 Ram trailer still pushes around a little with weight distribution hitch, and 30 ft >9000 ,lbs trailer

Works greats for towing
Air helpers worked great on my 2021 ram 1500. No more squat when towing a loaded trailer and improved ride when towing fully loaded. Did not affect ride or performance when aired down and unloaded. Highly recommend

certainly helps fix the sag
I like to put a ATV in the bed of my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie, while I tow a 5x8 trailer with a second ATV. But I was having a ton of sag in the rear end of my truck.I bought these to install my self. I'm mechanically inclined but limited when it comes to vehicles. This required me to remove both rear tires of my Ram and really get under the truck to inseart these between the coil springs. I could have done this myself if I had a lift that would have raised above my head. So I felt that it was just a bit too much work for me to do, with the high probability that I would screw it up. I opted to contact the local shop that I have put tires on and asked if they would do it. The local shop charged me $100.00 and installed them for me on their lift.Once installed I noticed a huge difference right away with the more stiffness of the rear end. Less bouncing all over the place. I love my Ram, but I had always noticed that it would sink when I would climb in the bed of the truck more so than the F-150 I had before. These Air Lift's work so well in fixing the sag. I can put the ATV's in with no issues. I like that the valve stem can be run independently to either side or linked together. I linked mine together so one valve controls both sides. Very simple to air up and to remove pressure as well.I highly recommend. I've had these on for over a year and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

Easy enough install on own and work great
These airbags work great on our Ram 2021 1500 4x4 and give us a little extra support when towing our travel trailer. We use weight distribution to level everything but these airbags give us a better ride and control when towing.I was able to install them myself in a couple hours following the instructions and a couple videos found on the internet.
