I like these products. They are easy to use and make the wood look great. I haven't noticed a lingering smell from the use of them. My husband prefers the oil on the cutting boards, I use the wax on our outdoor tables used for cooking and it works great. The wax leaves the wood feeling smooth and enhances the wood grain appearance. I wipe the outdoor furniture clean with a damp cloth.

Revitalizes various types of wood cutting boards and utensils. The wood looks better instantly. The wax is a little stiff and you really have to scrape to get it out of the container. I wish it was more like a cream or a putty. Seems like it takes a lot of product to coat the items with the wax. However this amount should be plenty for any persons kitchen items. The nozzle for the oil seems to drip on the bottle itself and I find that I have to keep wiping it with a paper towel. Those things being said, this product will make your wood items look brand new. Mine had never had any treatment and had been ran through the dishwasher many times. Now they look great and I’m no longer worried about splinters in my food.

Recently upcycled solid maple cabinets from my mother's kitchen reno. Cabinets that were the last big thing touched by my father who passed in 2011, so was a tough decision to have removed. I made cutting boards for each of my families homes so we have a piece of his legacy forever. Plan to gift them on mother's day tomorrow. I only mention this to tell you how important it was for me to do these right and with the right product. It didn't take much research to find Walrus Oil products. Even the packaging caught my eye. Price point seemed reasonable and being food grade and practically scent free checks all the boxes. Plenty of instructions but this product just works and it's hard to mess up. The oil went on beautifully and made my craftsman heart happy. Literally made me remember how much I love wood working. Cutting and routering and sanding did that too but the beauty this product added brought it home for me. I'm sure there are hundreds of options. I see no real reason to look any further than with this product line. Cheers and just buy it. Seriously easy affordable beautiful.

A little goes a long way, I made cutting boards for Christmas, this bottle finished 7 boards and still have a third of the bottle left. Sanded to 320 and the boards were smooth with a nice sheen.

It is easy to apply and holds up well. Excellent product.

Oil soaks in nicely and wax polishes up nicely. Odourless which is great and the boards look great. I never use stain and the Walrus oil brought out the natural wood grain beautifully. Will definitely reorder a larger amount.

Pity the walruses that got squeezed into a tin, but the product is great. Visibly improves the look of our wooden thingies, stuff bought in the street in Bali which now looks as if it came from a proper designer shop. No trace of walrus fur, no tusk bits, so I have to assume the walrus squeezing machinery they use must be very powerful. Much better than my orange juicer which leaves bits even in the no bits mode. The company has done a great job in also neutralising smells. I am no biologist but from what I see on the Discovery Channel these are beasts fed largely on fish. And you know how your fingers smell after assembling a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich. So odourless is no small accomplishment. Great product all round.

Don't need much to use after your first curing so my purchase should last a fair while. Sure does makes my chopping block look nice.
