Peace of Mind
I used mine today for the first time and was thrilled with how it worked. I was ripping 2x4s on my table saw to make 2x2 balusters for my deck railing and was uncomfortable with pushing the 2x4 through the blade with a stick pushing the 2x2 portion of the rip between the fence and the blade. It made me feel uncomfortable when my hands got close to the blade, especially trying to control the off cut with my left hand. I was very careful, but still apprehensive.Today, I put this push block atop the 2x4 with its side flush against the fence, its feet pushing down the board, and another foot sliding along the table on the off-cut side. The block was stable, easy to control with the sturdy handle, kept the board moving smoothly, and my hand went right over the spinning blade. But between my hand and the blade was the bulk of this push block. I easily pushed the board right through to the other side of the blade with pressure where it counted: downward on the board and sideways towards the fence, where before I was trying to push the board with a skinny stick that didn't do more than push straight ahead. I stood off to the side to avoid anything being spit back at me and I felt awkward and uncomfortable. With this tool, I was right behind and above the board where I could apply the pressures needed for a good, stable cut. This is a great product. Stick with the original and avoid the cheaper knock-offs out there.

How much is safety worth?
I’ve used push sticks that have come with saws. I have made my own push sticks and blocks, I’ve even 3D printed pushblocks both of my own design and ones that can be found that emulate the Grr-Ripper. It was out of curiosity that I bought one of these just to see how much better (if at all) it was and is the price tag justified. It is.There wasn’t much wrong with the push blocks I made when first got my jointer. Some nice hard wood, stuck some rubber on the bottom, some nice handles from a big box store. But if you REALLY want comfort, control and safety the Grr-Ripper wins. The attachment so you can offset the handle is huge allowing for a more comfortable grip. You can cut smaller pieces with ease in total safety. Apply force in more than one direction with no chance of slippage. The Grr-Ripper is a huge upgrade to my table saw and router table.

Great tool from a great company
It’s the complete package literally. It takes getting used to. Like during the first week I was making a cut I forgot to line up the grr-riper and cut into it, happy it wasn’t my finger but it was still annoying. If you get one of these I recommend getting a second grr-ripper (just the basic one) or the grr-ripper2go to leapfrog each other.

Safety Always Comes First!
This is a tool designed to make using a table saw safer. The problem is, it's too complicated to use and takes too much time to get it in the right setup for real world woodshops. I used it once, and it now has one of the thickest dust layers of any tool in my shop... and I am all about safe practices! Save your money for a real tool.

Worth the cost
I had been hesitant about buying the Gripper because of the cost, but after long consideration, I put more value on safety and made the purchase. You must still follow all safety precautions when operating power tools, and the Gripper adds another level of safety. I value my fingers more than the price of the Gripper and I want to be able to continue my woodworking hobby for a long time. Highly recommend it.

Great idea
Brilliant idea, well thought out for just about any cut on the tablesaw you can think of. The 1/8" leg is great for ripping thin strips safely. Kind of pricey and a minor hassle transforming it from one cut to the next but much cheaper and way less hassle than getting fingers sewn back on. And it's made in the USA.

The Gripper works as advertised!
When I got my first one as a gift I was quite impressed. I splurged and bought the deluxe version and after using them on my table saw, jointer and router table, I wish I had bought them sooner. When I take the time to set them up for making repeated cuts it is so much easier and safer. I also find I don’t get the burn out on longer cuts because of the hold they have on both sides of the board. I haven’t used a push stick since having the two grippers. Definitely recommend them to all my friends for the safety’s factor and functionality.

Awesome
This is my third gripper. Ive been using them since they were first released and have found them to be the best push block systems out there.

Safety at last on the tablesaw!
I am a retired piano teacher - at last enjoying time in the workshop- and value my fingers!!! I have always been uneasy with the table saw, router table, etc...using multiple push sticks and still nervous. Not anymore! What amazing products!
