Good product
This radio aerial is excellent. It is attached to my window and may not be the best looking item but it works. At first I was disappointed because although it improved FM reception to perfection my Tangent Tuner 2 would only automatically scan local stations on DAB and reception was poor. However , I had one channel that I had managed to tune in with very poor reception with the old dipole aerial which was now playing beautifully. So I tried tuning manually and the reception is now exceptional. I am therefore very pleased and this is a much cheaper solution than having an external aerial installed.

A easy solution to a difficult
I had previously tried to get various adaptors and ariels to an old sharp music system and after failing miserably to find the right connection, I purchased this. Overall it does its job, the connection was easy and the sound quality and signal receiving is very good and at last my music system works. The only downside it that its quite obvious and large in size so not the easiest thing to hide. It's not pretty looking so you want to hide it away but if you do the effectiveness isn't as good. I would recommend this product as it does work but maybe don't buy it if you are looking for something more discreet

Incredible improvement
Cannot believe the improvement in the DAB and DAB+ reception, from five stations to 63! I've tried 5 different aerials before this, all previous attempts to improve reception failed miserably but the RGTech aerial is truly a revolution in reception. ( I live in the Teesside area taking the signals from the Bilsdale transmitter.)

Delivery was poor - aerial is brilliant!
Aerial performs excellently and is totally unobtrusive. I pinned it to the back of my CD stand where it cannot be seen. Signal is impressive. Classic FM was marginal with the supplied aerial, occasionally dropping out and noisy. Crystal clear now. Really pleased with it. 1 star given because the courier dumped outside my front door, which is NOT a designated safe place. He then reported that it had been handed to the resident, clearly a lie because (i) I was out all morning and (ii) fortunately, it was still outside my front door when I returned. This is a rare occurrence in all my dealings with Amazon, but still not impressed.

This Actually Works Where All Others Have Failed - Recommend
I was so cynical and was about to pay an installer to put in an external aerial for my DAB tuner. I bought this based on "one last throw of the dice" after endless disappointments/ I think we must have tried every type of stand-alone DAB aerial, including amplified versions - all of which have done nothing except cause frustration and gritted teeth. This thing, however, does work. Unaccountably it does so by being a long strip of very ugly black plastic with no amplification that you roll out an attach to a wall (or window). It is not thin plastic like the things you get for a car windscreen - think instead a roll of 1mm or so solid plastic sheeting. But it IS well made - and fits perfectly on standard DAB tuners (the ones that need the same sort of connection as a satellite TV). It also has an adaptor so it can be used on tuners that have the alternative female aerial type socket connection (think TV aerial type leads). So the pluses - (1) chances are you WILL get lots of channels, many of which will be with PERFECT reception. (2) It is very well made/manufactured - it is NOT a piece of junk. The negatives - although it is very well made, it is ugly. You could not put this in a window - it would look horrific and block the light. This is a very large piece of flat plastic attached to a long wire. This said, it does work well on a wall - and if you can hide it behind e.g a hifi so you cannot see it what it looks like will not matter. We have hidden most of it behind some wood panelling. Summary: Functionality: -10/10 Quality of manufacture: 10/10 Practicality/'looks': 1/10 unless you can hide it somehow. For us, the £20 or so it cost pales into the £200 minimum I was expecting to pay for someone to install an external one. Yes - that would have been prettier, but it would have worked no better. In fact, many of these external ones have their own problems when it rains. Bottom line: RECOMMEND - and highly. Note: Amazon and the manufacturer both will accept this back no questions asked and refund you if it does not work for you so there is absolutely no risk here.

Makes zero difference for me
The product seems well made , but it made absolutely no difference to the signal strenght on my Ruark DAB tuner. In fact as I moved the aerial around, it occasionally registered no signal at all. I had to return it

It works as advertised!
I was looking for an aerial for FM/DAB radio for a newly purchased Taga system that powers the rest of my hifi. The radio always has a dull hiss behind the reception of my favourite local BBC station. The options provided with the Taga don’t quite do it and other aerials for sale here looked to be around the same size and quality as what I already had. So I spent £20 on the RGTech Monarch and was pleasantly surprised. The instructions suggest mounting the flexible black sheet that comes with it in a window. I can’t do that as the only place to site my hifi system in my house is on a cabinet in an alcove in the centre of the property. However, I plugged the end of the long connecting wire in to the unit, held my breath as I turned the unit turned on… no hiss, no crackle! That changed a little as I experimented with placement but I could always find somewhere that it worked as advertised. I have now sited the black plate behind a picture frame so it’s invisible and allowed the thick black connecting wire to coil down beneath the cabinet, still a bit unsightly but perfectly acceptable and it works. What I haven’t done as yet is to retune to look for additional stations (which I’ll never use) but I’m very happy with a much improved sound quality and, for me, it was £20 well spent!

Not perfect, by any means.
Seems to function ok, when it stays on the wall. Not long, however before the adhesive pads fail and it falls off. I've tried sticking with Blutack, but still comes away eventually. The trouble is the fact that it comes rolled up, and is difficult to unroll and stay straight. The tension created from being curved causes it to pull away from the wall. I'll get there in the end, but it's annoying at the moment.

SWR1, zeigen vollen Empfang an.

Good antenna and solution for weak signal
Dopo aver provato mille antenne per migliorare la ricezione della mia radio DAB, ho risolto con quest'antenna. La ricezione è molto migliorata e finalmente stabile.
