Uncomfortable stitching and handling tape removes the touchscreen feature
I bought these while working in EMS to wear on the job (yes, I was that guy), and I ran into two disappointments with this glove. The biggest was that the stitching is not flat and I could very clearly feel all the seams on the inside as I wore the glove. Unlike Blackhawk's all-fabric S.O.L.A.G. glove variant or various coldweather tactical gloves, this doesn't feel as much like a smooth, even cloth tightly covering your hand. The synthetic leather, which is harder and tougher than the softer fabric in the Blackhawk all-fabric S.O.L.A.G. glove variant, gets stitched together into these ridges you can clearly feel against your hand and that I at least initially found distracting from trying to feel things outside the glove with the glove on. It was an immediate disappointment and I hope in the future to avoid other gloves with such prominent leather stitching on the inside. If I wore a liner underneath the HWI glove, it would likely resolve my complaint.I additionally noticed that while the touchscreen feature worked at first, after a while it did not work so well (and eventually stopped working) on my dominant hand. I eventually pinned it on handling medical tape with the fingertips: whenever I handled the adhesive side of medical tape, the tape would be covered in black fuzzies from the glove where I had touched it with my fingers. In doing this, it seems like I removed some kind of treatment or component of the fingertips that provided the touchscreen feature. Other than loss of the touchscreen feature, there was no damage or obvious wear to fingertips from repeated handling of medical tape adhesive backs. All other aspects of the glove seemed fine, and I had no other issue with durability or toughness. I especially appreciated the relatively low-key branding. They were lost at a hospital after under a year of wear.

maybe it wasn't meant to be used for riding- however it's good to keep in mind
I've owned this product for almost three years now. The construction is well made and the touchscreen capabilities work well even in light rain. I mainly use these gloves for riding my motorcycle. My only gripe is the extra material on the palm side, on the webbing in between the pointer and thumb, tend to fatigue my hands after gripping for long periods of time. Then again, maybe it wasn't meant to be used for riding- however it's good to keep in mind.

HWI Gloves
Bought these gloves as a replacement. Gloves fit....little big, but it is ok, does not have touch screen, or it just doesn't work with my phone. Ordered these on April 18th, 2020 arrived on April 23rd, 2020. Very fast shipping. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

Great Tactical Gloves
I have only had these gloves for about a week and will update this review as I wear them over a longer period. First, if you are unsure of the right size for you, order the next size up. These gloves are a snug fit and it is better to have them a little loose than too tight. The gloves appear to be very well made and the hard knuckles are sewn into the gloves rather than merely glued on like other brands. The palm grips are very effective and work very well in controlling the butt of a firearm during recoil. These gloves are well-thought out and designed for functionality. There are less expensive gloves out there, but these seem to be worth the additional cost.

Solid, well built
I am a network engineer/administrator who happens to work for some undisclosed government entities in the military field.I need tactile response, the ability to use touch screens, Protection against harsh elements, breathability, and the ability to easily shoulder and fire my weapons. These fit the bill perfectly in every category.I would recommend these for any type of field engineer, technician, or tactical operator. I have personally never heard of this brand (HWI) but they clearly knew what they were doing with these gloves. They are not insulated, but do provide excellent wind break in cold climates. Use a larger insulated over-glove for warmth. It is practically impossible to have tactile response and thick insulation.

Comfortable, but not for very cold weather
Comfortable most of the time -- unless it gets _very_ cold. The ability to use the phone without taking them off was why I bought them. The hard knuckles are not only a weapon (still legal despite unconstitutional bans on everything else), but will help you, if you fall from your bicycle...Ironically, I forgot them on a train -- it was so hot inside the car, I took them off and left lying on the seat, when I exited. Will buy another pair.

As a female in law enforcement I often get left out when it comes to glove sizes and Equipment sizes. There's never anything that fits me. This is the first set of gloves that actually fits me correctly! Will have an update on quality and life of gloves later on.

Great tactical glove
IMO these run a bit small. I measured vs a HWI size chart I found online (hello put one here) and came out a medium, but exchanged for a large. Tactile feel is excellent as is grip. Knuckle area is well protected and slightly flexible which is great. Touchscreen function works well. Excellent glove for weapons handling. Warmth is secondary but that's a no brainier. You can't maximize both at the same time.
