It's a nice set
The surface is not glossy it has a matt finish and cutting a sandwich on the small plate caused a scratch so I suggest not cutting sandwichs on them or don't be heavy-handed when cutting food other than that they are fine and I like how the ends curl upward so it is harder for things to roll off the plates

Beware broken items. Perfect for camping or picnics.
Although this set was perfect, I contacted the seller by phone, on the day the product arrived. She informed me to send a message via Amazon, which I did. We were off camping Sat, giving them three days to post a replacement. Nothing. Not even a response or apology for charging me full price and sending a faulty item. Set would've been perfect otherwise.

Excellent quality cup & plate set - great value for money.
Good design - look good and very robust. Dropped a cup onto our ceramic kitchen floor from a height of 4ft - it bounced but didn't break !!
