Weleda Skin Food For Dry and Rough Skin 2.5 Oz, Pack of 2

I wasn't sure if the Skin Food I bought was real. I use Weleda Skin Food often, mostly buying it at Whole Foods. Since the price was so good, I bought it here. The packaging was different and it smelled a little different than my previous Skin Food that's why I reached out to Weleda to find out if it's real. Turns out Subha Enterprise isn't an authorized reseller of Weleda products on Amazon. Not sure if that makes a difference or not, but I felt it was important to share.

I typically use more expensive skincare products like Tatcha and Drunk Elephant because it has been my experience that you get what you pay for with skincare, but I bought this after seeing a Dermatologist review it on youtube. I am thoroughly impressed. My skin is baby soft, and loves the moisturizing properties of this formula. You really can't beat it for the price.The only thing you need to know that may be a downside is the absorption time. I recommend putting a small pea sized amount on your face and neck about 20 minutes before bed or make-up application. It will make your face look greasy until it soaks into the skin so allowing time to set is really important to give this formula time to sink into the skin.

I really like the Wededa brand of Skin Food, both the original for nighttime use and the Light Skin Food for daytime. Amazon had a seller that had a version for dry and rough skin, so I ordered it for my elbows and upper arms thinking it would work even better than the original thick skin food. However, what arrived was a 2-pack of the original skin food, not tubes marked for rough and dry skin. We know that the original skin food hydrates dry skin, but I thought this was an even more moisturizing product. So either I received the wrong product or the photo and description on Amazon are wrong. Not sure. I did reorder the 2-pack for dry and rough skin, so we will see what shows up. I will amend this review at that time.

Finally! I swear by this product as it indeed feels like food for my dry ankle, hand and feet.When I first applied I thought it was going to be one of those sticky greasy feeling lotions, but 2 seconds later I was just left with smoooth moisturized skin. I couldn't help but brag bout my new soft hands :p .... what I love most about it is how long it really stayed on without the feel of having any cream on (if that made sense) ... super natural feel ... Bought a pack of two and gave one to my Mom and she indeed tossed all her expensive lotions away. Best of all is that it's made with organic most natural ingredients which am a fan of.Wish it came in a travel size so I can toss one in every bag I carry.

This stuff is magic. I am a senior citizen and my skin has been suffering in the cold New England weather. Tried it on my face--terrific! I am a senior citizen--just slathered it on. If you are young, maybe start with a smaller amount on your face. But I find it absorbs almost immediately, and it's not greasy at all. And makeup goes on beautifully (I don't use much). Shipped immediately. Would order again absolutely.

I read an article that this is what a lot of make up artists use as their night cream. It is thick, so it's not the best for Summer but in the winter, it keeps my face, neck and hands looking good.

Wow! I suffer from incredibly dry skin on my arms, legs and torso. I have tried every lotion available in the drugstore and my skin just soaks it in and is dry again within a few hours. This stuff is the first thing I’ve purchased that actually lasts all day!! I wish I had discovered it sooner. I’m gokng to be trying the other varieties. It’s a little thick in consistency and requires you to really work it into your skin but it’s a miracle worker. I really enjoy the scent. It’s a little citrusy but like nothing I’ve smelled before. I really enjoy the scent but it may not be liked by everyone. I would really recommended this cream to everyone.

I found this moisturizer after watching a video by a dermatologist. I bought it and it is amazing! It is a little greasy for a few minutes after putting it on, but then it soaks in. I no use a makeup sponge with water to put it on. It helps eliminate the greasy feeling. I love it!!!

This product is perfect for dry skin, if you like a glow to your skin and use as a foundation primer.

Good product but difficult to spread, although skin remains moisturised for some time after use.
