PMP Exam Practice Tests - 600 Questions with Explanations: with complete reference to the PMBOK Guide 6th Edition

Like me, people buying this book are looking for exactly what the title says: "PMP Exam Practice Tests". And it makes sense - take a mock test and see how you gage. And the book does have x3 full length 200 questions mock tests. However the problem lies that the questions are *nothing* like the real PMP exam. Actually as far as I can tell there are no real available "mock tests" out there that are truly representative of the real PMP exam. The best that you can hope is that the mock exam tests your knowledge in a general way against the PMBOK, and if you can do well on this test, then you should do well on the real PMP test as well.* * * * *My own example: initially I bought this book along with another popular "serious looking" PMP guide book, and was getting absolutely nowhere. After a while, having made practically no progress, I decided to buy other books which I do recommend instead: 1) Head First PMP (excellent first stop), 2) PMI's own Q&As for the PMBOK (good as a companion book) and 3) Read and Pass Notes for PMP.Note: Recommended books no. 1 and no. 3 are rather unconventional. I was *extremely* reluctant to buy these, but I'm happy I did - though their presentation is rather dreadful, they are very practical about both explaining the PMBOK and providing practical guidance and tips for the PMP exam.Ultimately I passed the PMP exam with top results in all areas ("above target"), thanks to books 1-3 above listed. This other book - and again sorry to say - was not useful at all.

Awesome questions. This book brought the most clarity to my study for my PMP, when compared to all of my other tools.

I found the questions in this book to be much harder than the actual PMP exam and some are a little confusing or did not have enough information to make the best decision. That said, I really think it helped me better prepare for the exam and I am glad that I purchased this book. I was scoring an average of 65% on exams in this book but passed the PMP on the first try. I recommend using at as a tool but don't let the low scores discourage you.

This book is a must to pass PMP exam, as the questions in the book is same as that we get in actual pmp exam. The questions are unique clear with proper solution to each answer. This book really helped me on passing the exam.

This book reads like someone bought a PMP sample exam in a foreign language, ran it through google translate, and posted it for sale. Like others have said, you will spend more time trying to understand the question than answer it.That being said, some questions are helpful for quizzing yourself on terms that you might have glossed over while studying,Tons of grammatical errors and trick questions, including subjective questions that aren't covered in PMBOK.Most frustrating are the math errors where 20% of 5,000=$2000, etc..Just a really frustrating waste of time..don't waste your money

Incredibly embarrassing amount of errors that really throw you off. It took more time per question to fix the grammatical problems in this book than actually answering. Additionally, some of the answers didn't align when cross referenced in the PMBOK.

good practice book with detail answers

Simulating the exam is one of the best ways to complete your preparation. And the explanation helps you enhance your knowledge in the questions in may choose the wrong option. So, it is worthwhile buying this book. Just be careful that are a few questions with wrong answers and another few that were badly elaborated. But, if you are studying for a while, you will notice them.

This book sometimes had questions that were worded in a confusing manner. There were also some mistakes in the publication where the answers didn't line up with the explanation, but they're obvious to spot. I contacted the author and they recognized it.Overall, the only study material I used was the PMBOK 6 and this book and I passed. The questions in this textbook are helpful and similar in difficulty.

I found the questions really unclear both in content and from a grammar perspective.
