CAT CORA by Starfrit 8-Inch Slicer Knife

This is a really beautiful knife! With its walnut wood and the very well made blade.The knife came very sharp from the package, and after 1 day of use I did not see any sign of rust.I did not have any 8 inch knife before, so I was very well surprised with the size! It is big, bit it is also very light for it's size!The handle is very comfortable, and the knife is well balanced.I am not an expert in knifes but I have used before good steel knifes before, and this one is one of them.The only drawback I see is the fact that the back of the blade is not extremely thin, so when I cut large onions or carrots, it is a bit difficult. (Again, I am a chef)Otherwise, slicing tomatoes is like a dream, it's therapy. I love it.I wanted to give it as a gift but now I want to keep it. XD

Excellent well balanced Knife. A good addition to any kitchen knife collection.If you are looking for a large knife that isn't quite as bulky as a Chef's Knifelook no further. You won't be dissapointed.
