I bought this insulator material to do a repair to a 2 phase 4 meter service panel that had shorted out from rain water intrusion... that damaged one of the meters legs to main breaker this was during covid and a four meter service panel was Unavailable at the time but we're were able to source parts this material was one of themThis material was dense and robust which was just what we needed and made of the same composition of the panels original material (original material is circled in red in our photo) after was all said and done the inspector was impressed and signed off for the electric company to restore power to the service panelI don't know what I would have done with out this product during the pandemic

This is the only thing that truly protects things from shorting out when rubbing against metal or hard objects. I included a photo from a Facebook group I’m in. Fishpaper even protected against a misplaced spot weld that otherwise would have permanently shorted out the cell and almost certainly caused a fire and not been able to pull apart.

This worked great for my Li-ion battery pack for my eBike conversion. It helps as an insulator between battery and case and BMS wiring!

This works really well as far as protecting your cells and connections (if you are doing DIY lithium battery making). I personally like that the sticky back is very mild. Because if you accidentally misplace the piece you are applying, you can easily reposition it. You cannot stick this on without having something else to hold it in place (like shrink tube/wrap, or tape of some sort). Only down side is that this product prohibits ventilation, so use wisely.
