Brilliant, well-made and just what I needed to replace the foreign lamp fitting+cable inside a Korean lamp so that it can be easily used here in the UK.

Does what it says n very practical

This light lead was a replacement for one I had for as long as I can remember. Although I initially expected it to be a bit longer, it turned out slightly shorter than anticipated. However, it performs its intended function perfectly, effectively lighting up the space.

Absolutley spot on! I've used this in building a moth trap. Works a treat. Just need the moths to come now!! 😊

Fixing a lamp

Always buy.

Bought this to rewire and replace the lamp fitting on an original Anglepoise lamp. Perfect fit and the cable is narrow enough to fit inside the arms. No in line switch. The switch is on the lamop socket which is more convenient. Recommended

This product does the job: you attach a bayonet bulb, you plug it into a power outlet, and voila - let there be light!However…I noted that this has a built-in fuse in the plug and I’ve had issues with these fuses before (long story, but not related to this product) so I decided to preempt a repeat and replace the fuse, just in case. Good news: there is, in fact, a replaceable fuse in the plug. Bad news: no grounding wire. The illustration attached to the plug diagrams the grounding wire, so there’s supposed to be one. However, as you can see in the attached email, there is no grounding wire…so this is poor engineering and a hazard risk!If you’re willing to accept that risk, then this item is the bees knees as it’s fairly straightforward to use, functions as expected, and does the job overall.The seller should probably be upfront about the shoddy engineering of this product and perhaps not include a diagram showing grounding wire when there clearly isn’t one.
