HanesMen's 6-Pack X-Temp Crew Socks

Someone gave me a ankle pack of these as a gift. After trying them out a few weeks I jumped on Amazon to but a bunch more in long and short. These are easily the most comfortable socks I've even worn. They could be a bit thicker but are Not overly thin either. Worn them out clearing snow and didn't freeze the toes. Will always measure a sock against these. I'm writing a review about a sock, they impress me that much.

These socks are meant to breath well. When not stretched, they look a bit small, and if you look at the reviews, you see people complain about the small size. They stretch well and are comfortable, and definitely breath well. In terms of fit and comfort, I like them.However, within weeks of purchasing them, I started getting holes in the toes. I've had to throw out socks here and there as they tear, and I've probably thrown out about 1/3 of a pack so far. Thankfully I bought 2 packs so I have plenty. But at this rate, I'll need to buy more socks by the end of the year.I've worn Hanes socks for decades. I've had pairs last for years. Having socks fail so quickly after buying is quite disconcerting, and makes me wonder why I'm not considering any of the cheaper brands now available on Amazon. I prefer buying quality so that I don't have to replace so frequently. But if this is where Hanes is at in their quality, now, there's no reason to pay extra for them.Update: I bought these December of 2019. It's now September 2020 and I've literally had to toss half the socks I've purchased (2 packs). I'm now back to shopping for socks as I'm running so low.

The fit, the warmth and the fabric are perfect. Ordered the 6-9 size as I take a size 10 shoe and have a narrow foot. These fit snugly and don't bunch up or roll around. They are thick and warm and stretch. Very durable (I have ordered them before). Note that are are warm especially so on hot days (which I do not get a lot of). No need for slippers in the house! FIVE STARS!

Have been looking at socks to wear to replace ones that have started to get holes in. Saw these to try and they are well made and do keep my feet from sweating. Will look to buy these as replacement socks when my other ones also develop holes in them.

My husband loves these socks. They are the only ones he will consider wearing. They are the right feel for his feet, with the warmth, comfort, and thickness that he likes. I was so glad to find them offered through Amazon, as I could not find them in our local stores.

They fit ok. I wear a size 13 so I'm used to socks being on the small side, as they generally only go to size 12.They are very cool. They are thin, and made of a stretchy waffle type material that are extremely comfortable.I've had them for only a week, so I can't speak to their durability.As for now they're great.

Really poor durability, very surprised. I bought these 6 weeks ago, do not wear them every day and do not participate in sports or do anything that keeps me on my feet for long periods of time. I have already worn holes in 3 socks. I have never used this variety of Hanes sock, but have worn other Hanes crew socks, and have never experienced them wearing out so quickly. For the record, this is the sock I'm talking about: Hanes Ultimate Men's 6-Pack X-Temp Crew Socks, white/gray Heel toe, 10-13 (Shoe size 6-12)

My husband really likes to wear these to work. He is very picky about work socks, some are too tight - some are too loose. He says they are very comfortable and fit just right.

Comfortable and good value for money.

Returning these. There was a hole in a sock after wearing it for one day... It was brand new. Do not waste your money.

They breath well and feel nice but much to short for me. If you like short and thin socks you will like them. Just not my preference.
