Will these survive standard shipping to michigan, in february? if i need to expedite, so they survive, that affects my final purchasing decision.

Yes they will be just fine. We use excellent insulation and large heat packs. We guarantee every order we ship so if anything does go wrong, we will replace it free of charge. Thank you!

I have a new tank I just started and wanted a good amount of copepods right way. Can I just pour the bag right into my tank? what do they eat?

You can put them right in however, I would wait until night. It is best to have a tank that has had some time to develop. These are a great food for mandarin gobies which will starve if the copepods are not available.

How long can these be stored, and how do you store these, refrigerator?

Hello, our copepods can be stored in the fridge (in the top shelf of the door, or warmest part) between 38-55F for up to three weeks. Each bottle has an use by date written on it that is three weeks after the date it was bottles for ease of use.

i have a 75 gal tank with alot of rock do i need to add photoplankton along with them I have a manderin

Yes - we definitely recommend it - the phytoplankton serves as the primary food source for the copepods while they are in your tank ( and it's what we feed them in our own facility) - dosing with phytoplankton daily will give your copepods the fuel they need to reproduce in your tank! We typically recommend 16oz of Pods + Phyto/ 45 gallons of tank volume - depending on how much livestock you have/plan to have in your tank you could either go with 16oz or 32oz of each monthly!
