We got these for our recently turned 3 year old to go with her new full sized bike. Took the gear and the bike out for a spin for the first time yesterday. So far haven't had a chance to see these in action with a fall or anything (and hopefully won't need to any time soon!) but she was excited to have the pink gear and wanted to put it all on right away. The padding is protective but soft and comfortable - needed a bit of adjustment to avoid pinching the skin, but overall fine and she really enjoyed her first ride. Best part might be the gloves, which she can also wear when mom and dad are working out, to match our workout gloves - she's super excited about those, and they fit very nicely. Note that the gloves seem small and are a nice tight fit, which turned out very good for her small hands - exactly how this sort of glove should fit exactly. Thinking to how adult gloves fit us and are quite snug to squeeze into, it makes perfect sense. But when I first saw them I was thinking, there's no way we will get her hands into these. They are actually fine, and material is stretchy enough to make it easy to fit into. They are very lightweight and soft as well, and seem like good quality material - she'll use this gear until she grows out of it I think. Really happy with the purchase, thanks!

I have a tiny little five year old who just got some new roller skates. We have tried knee and elbow pads in the past that have an elastic strap but they were too big and uncomfortable for her, despite being advertised as being her size. The Simply Kids pads are great!!! We love them. They fit well and the straps are so soft where her knees and elbows bend. The gloves are also a perfect fit. I got her the size small, which are recommended for 2-4 year olds, but like I said she is small for 5 years old. I also love the storage bag. When I put the pads in it and tie it up, I can fit them inside her helmet so everything is compact. And as far as protection, she falls....ALOT! No boo-boos so far since she has been wearing the pads. We love them!

These pads are great for little ones. My daughter is a mere 30lbs and the pads fit nicely without inhibiting her movements and are very easy to put on and remove. Helps that they are cute to motivate her to wear them too. Great product at a great price!

Bought these for an average size 7 year old girl for bike riding (not skateboarding). Ordered both the medium and large size since medium said 4-8 years old and large were 8+. We ended up keeping the large size and returning the medium. The medium fit but didn't have any room for growth. The large also fit fine but have a lot of velcro strap left over and as others have noted there is nowhere to attached the extra. The extra length on the straps isn't an issue when used but just kind of dangles. The gloves that come with the set do seem to run small and are difficult for her to remove without help. She likes the unicorn design/pink color scheme and had said they were comfortable. So far, so good and like that the padding is flexible unlike those with the hard plastic.

My five year old is picky about everything, but she likes these. First selling point for her is she got to pick from all the different design options. Also they are not hard like most of the other pads so she says they are more comfortable. And sometimes she can even put them on all by her self. They seem easier to put on every thing is just one Velcro strap. The elbow pads are also long so they cover more forearm. They day she put them on she took a good spill when her bike went over a patch of gravel. She fell off face first. Surprisingly she did not has a scratch, and she was just wearing a light dress.

My daughter loves these! She wouldn't ride her bike without elbow and knee pads. As soon as she came, she was over the moon and rode her "big girl" bike with such confidence! The carry bag is amazing because she knows right where to put her things and right where to find them if she wants to play. The padding is great while still being flexible. This is an amazing product!

Got 2 cause I seen a lot of stuff about wrong sizing on review. I got these for my son he loves pink. Smaller size The arms fit the legs were snug. The gloves are really small. Haven't tried on the bigger pair. coverage is less than advertised. Straps are nice and stretchy good quality. My kid called them uncomfortable after about 10 mins on bare skin so next time we will try them with clothes next.

I bought this gear because I wanted a fit that would be slightly less bulky and help my daughter transition out of training wheels. It definitely did the trick!! The style encouraged her to wear them since they were super cute and coincidentally matched her helmet 😜 I like that they dont have the traditional hard plastic shell. The elbow pads are actually quite long and cover above and below the elbow some. I also didn't realize that they came with the cute little gloves so that was a plus! They also included some stickers for added excitement upon opening the goodies. My daughter said they were comfortable and it put me at ease that she was definitely safe in these. I definitely would recommend these pads.

The product is really nice in terms of comfort and coverage for a child and nice design that brings joy to a child but the good qualities stop there. Pads were bought for 3 year old and they immediately started to fall apart when it comes to the straps. The backing came off the velcro on one strap after first use. After a few wears of use by 3 year old just going around on their scooter and bicycle, 7 out of the 10 straps have now separated from the velcro part leaving straps hanging which need to be tied and tucked somewhere. This is a clear product quality issue and how there aren’t multiple complaints about this I do not know. Also, I have tried contacting the company several times over the past two weeks and receive no response so very poor customer service, considering how they promote they are customer oriented and want 100% satisfaction.
