These figs are nothing short of awesome, it’s been years since I’ve had figs, the closest I’ve ever come is Newtons!

Just got my 3rd order of these. They were fantastic! So glad I ordered again. I had none of the issues I had with last order. Very very pleased, I recommend, and if you get a not great batch know that it isn't the norm. My first order of these was last year. They were great! This order...eh. Many are hard, and some are rotten and bitter. I will not order these again. But the moist ones that are not rotten, bitter or hard are really good. I'm bummed.

The figs came in an open trash bag. They are moldy and smell funny. Disgusting. It is 20 degrees F outside in Indiana today and the figs sat on my front porch for a couple hours before I took them inside and opened immediately. Why are the figs so warm? Never again. Sorry about the sideways video. Old phone and old man. This is a contaminated food product that should have never been shipped in the first place. Guess they will make good compost at the landfill. Do not buy from Traina. There is no excuse for this. Looked it up and moldy figs can be very toxic for multiple reasons.

Won't re-hydrate!!! :-(
Pretty hard to chew. The moisture level was very low. The figs look like they were of good quality when dried. My only problem was they did not re-hydrate. I added water to cover and brought to a boil. Then covered them and set them aside...not many were soft enough to eat. I then took them and cut the stem ends off and chopped them into pieces, I then cooked them slowly for 4+ hours. Still they are not re-hydrated. My next move is to put them in the blender and see how that works. Fingers crossed!!! I love fig preserves, but without them getting softer, they just won't work. :-(.
