Really Fabulous!
I got these glasses as a birthday present. While I may not have splurged for myself, it was a fabulous surprise. While I've read negative reviews about the image sizes on cheaper MyVu models, this model is fabulous. I connect it to my ipod and am saved from the strain of focusing on such a tiny ipod screen. The colors and image quality are crisp, but not HD quality. There are 4 settings for brightness and 4 settings for tint. The headphones are extremely comfortable and produce fabulous sound quality. The glasses are heavy and the cords can be somewhat cumbersome. This is not a product that you can walk around with or move freely with. It does work well when seated on an airplane/train. I love blocking everyone else out on flights. Until a drink cart hits your elbow, it is like you are somewhere else. However, one of the benefits of this product vs. the "competition" (there is no real competition) is the peripheral view these glasses allow. While it is easy to completely separate from the world around you, you are physically able to see around the glasses and remain aware. I would recommend this cool new toy to any friend.

Sent mine back (twice)
Okay, a buddy of mine mentioned this product to me and said he really liked his. I decided to get a pair for my son to use for his I-touch. We got the glasses in and the instructions were really weak (and I'm pretty tech savvy). I couldn't get them to power up at all and they were bulky with a lot wires and chords to contend with.We sent them back to the third party vendor. These don't come from Amazon, but from a third party vendor in New York. I got a replacement pair set in about 14 days. Guess what? They didn't work either. Only one lenses had a picture and the quality was poor. I called vendor (took several calls to get through). I think it is a retail store in New York City. They agreed to let me return and get a refund. I return and 3 weeks go by without any refund. I send about three emails and make two or three calls (have to leave messages on their voicemail). Finally I get through and got it worked out. Seems they just made a mistake when processing the second return, but they fixed and I got all of my money back.Bottom line, even if they had worked, based on the configuration I don't think I would have been happy with them. I'm glad I got my money back, but the whole thing was a big hassell.

I was hoping it would be better
The Standard Crystal Viewer got such great reviews, I was excited when I got my package. After using it, I'm disappointed. I wish I hadn't thrown out the box so I could return it. The viewer is heavy, particulary on a small face. It might be easier if you are laying down. It is not just that the glasses are heavy - it is all the equipment that hangs down. The picture quality is not great. I found myself moving my head to try to get a better view which was impossible because the glasses were attached. The screen is too small.

Video quality is actually good
If you wear glasses, you will need to carve an old set of lenses for this to work. Yes they SELL corrective adapters, but no they probably won't be good for your eyes or preserve the image. Sound quality is definitely marginal. Concept is good. Support these guys so we get HD glasses over BT at some point!

Would be zero if possible
I'm a recently converted tech head and loved the idea of this product, but I wished I had read some of these reviews first. I experienced the same problems as several others--no instructions at all, a charger that never ever charged (and one had to disconnect it from the socket to get it to pretend to charge [i.e. to get the light to come on]), no picture whatsoever, terrible sound (scratchy without the remote turned on, hi-pitched wine with it), and there are so many wires and connectors that they regularly fall out while trying to get the ungainly thing to sit on your face. Unfortunately as an international customer refunds are not viable, but my advice is avoid this piece of junk (seriously, don't make the mistake of thinking it looks cool and the reviewers can't be right--I did to my lasting regret)

EYE WEARABLE LDC
construcion sturdy but BULKI, DOES NOT FIT, for smaller face, the eye does not fall in the center, so renders image bad to see.if you have a big face maybe ,, also falls from the face. good make but not practical. also tooooo many wires. plugs etc. bulky.

Where to start
I was pretty excited to unbox this thing, but it didn't take long for disappointment to set in. First of all, the documentation is terrible... what documentation there is anyway. At first, the battery appeared to be dead, so I plugged it into my desktop's USB port. The charge light comes on and I can power the unit up, but no display. Once it's powered off it will not come back on until I unplug the USB cable and re-insert it. It's DOA. Returning and won't buy another. Good luck with yours!

Technology is not there at all!
Really the inclusion of so many wires and peripherals just to get a connection is a real disappointment. The whole apparatus is clumsy. Imagine looking into a Fisher Price View Finder for 2 hours and imagine the headache and nausea you are going to have. The display constantly flickers. The sound is bass heavy and muted. The cords pull out of the jacks with a stiff breeze. This is a very poor product. There is no widescreen experience to be had. This is an epic fail. I wonder if Vuzix or itheater do any better.
