I've owned several tonneau covers over the years, including both soft roll-up and hard folding designs, and this is my first cover from Tyger. My initial impression is very positive. The fit and finish are excellent, installation was straightforward, and making the final adjustments to get everything lined up was simple. The cover rolls up easily and is out of the way. Much lighter than heavier try folds , clamps seem solid and install easily. I do expect some water to get in as I have had will all my covers in the past, OEM and aftermarket alike, so I consider this a non issue it is still primarily dry overall. It does sit higher than some of the other ;owners profile/flush fitting covers but I prefer the covers that sit on top as it give me a little extra wiggle room storing stuff without having to roll up the cover. I originally purchased a different tonneau cover that specifically advertised compatibility with the Multi-Function Tailgate (MFT), but it ended up being too short for my truck. After reading another owner's review saying this Tyger cover fit despite the stated limitation, I decided to give it a try. On my 2021 Ram 1500 Rebel with the Multi-Function Tailgate, it fit very well. Obviously, I can't guarantee it will fit every truck or configuration, but it worked perfectly in my case. I wanted to mention that because I know other Ram owners with the MFT may be searching reviews looking for real-world fitment information. Like every soft tonneau cover I've owned—and even a couple of hard covers—there is a small amount of light visible near the front bulkhead by the cab. To me, that's the best place for any slight gap since it's the most protected area of the bed. I consider that normal rather than a flaw. I've also owned several Tyger running boards over the years, and they've all held up well. This is my first Tyger tonneau cover, and so far it has lived up to the same quality I've come to expect from the brand. The materials feel solid, the cover looks great, and I think it offers excellent value for the price. I'll continue putting highway miles on it and will update my review if anything changes over time, but based on my installation and initial use, I'm very happy with it.

I have had many tonneau cover's throughout the past. Roll up, soft tri-fold; and hard tri fold. I went back to a soft roll up due to the 5th wheel that I tow. I wanted something simple to work with when towing, but at the same time, a cover that looked good on my truck, secured, and easy to install. This checks all the boxes for my 2023 Ram 3500 Mega Cab. Installation took me all of 45 minutes, and I think the bulk of the time was unpacking the box. Very easy to install, looks great, and with the locking feature, which by the way is so much better than the clamps that some of these soft roll ups use. An easy 5 star for me!

It fits my Ram 1500 perfectly with a tight, clean look. The installation was incredibly quick and easy, taking no time at all. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: After about a month I deceided to losen the brackets that hold the cover in place. I pushed the entire cover and rails back about a 1/2" and now the cover and seal against the tailgate seem to be much tighter. I feel that this fix will stop most, if not all seepage. I did not have time to test with a hose and we did not get any rain since the adjustment. Pros: - Great appearance: I really like the curved braces—they help prevent water from pooling on the cover. - Easy to install: I took my time and still finished in about 45 minutes (the cold beer breaks didn’t help with speed). - Well made: It feels solid and well-built. I expect it to last a long time. Cons: IT LEAKS!: Despite adjusting the rails multiple times, I initially had about a 1" gap where the back seal didn't sit properly on the truck’s tailgate. After some tweaking, I got the seal to sit correctly. I then sprayed the bed with a hose, opened the tailgate, and still found water inside. More tweaking helped reduce the leakage, but it wasn’t fully resolved. I followed the recommendation to add more weatherstripping, which helped somewhat, but the cover still leaks a bit. I did take it through a car wash recently, and there wasn’t much water that seeped in—maybe the cover just needs time to "settle" into position. That said, my last cover allowed zero water through. I only replaced it because the Velcro kept coming undone whenever I drove on the highway. Overall: It’s a good cover, but be prepared to do some adjusting and possibly add extra weatherstripping to get the best seal for your truck. For reference, I'm using this on a 2013 RAM Outdoorsman.

2025 Ram 1500 crew, short bed, these covers are the absolute best! I have owned at least three of these, all for Ram 1500 crew, short bed trucks. They are exceptionally functional, given access to the entire bed of the truck in seconds, back to fully covered in the same amount of time. I prefer the rollup over the tri-fold because of the bed accessibility. Tyger makes a great product and I would highly recommend!

Beautiful cover. fit my 2016 Ram perfectly and it fuctions as intended. I had to get help to install but the directions were good (not great). It took a few tics to understand a few of the steps but once it clicked it was actually kind of fun to install.

This is a very good quality cover and easy installation with a great fit! I was worried something wasn’t going to work but it was all good! Just make sure to put the seals strips it comes with before you tighten the anchors/hooks to prevent rain from coming in as least as possible.

Update June 6 2020: I'm getting ready to buy another one of these because the first one served me so well. Complaints about quality of latches and other hardware fall on deaf ears for me, as I never once had a problem with any of that after two years. This included numerous 4-6 hour trips at Interstate speed, as well as hauling all manner of cargo, rolling up the cover and securing it back down, the works. And never once the slightest water leak, in high-pressure car washes or thunderous downpours. In my experience these are solid truck bed covers at a bargain price. Spend $700-plus if you want, I really don't need to. (My original review follows.) Installed easily enough, snugs down easy, appears secure on the truck (2007 Ram 1500 Quad Cab, 6.5' bed). The clips are plastic as noted by other reviewers, but they seem sturdy enough. I'm not sure lightweight aluminum/alloy would be a whole lot better. I spent considerable time getting the rails lined up just right, so it locks down solid. After locking it down I tighten up the sides -- I pull the velcro loose and tug each side good and tight. That gives it a nice smooth appearance and makes sure there is excellent velcro contact all the way up and down. So far everything is fine. I've only rolled it up a couple of times, don't expect to have to do that very often, so I'm not greatly concerned about excess wear-and-tear on the plastic tabs or slots. It unlocks/pops loose easily, is very easy to roll up and the wrap-around straps hold it down good enough. When rolling it back down over the bed, it's important to make sure each end of the support slats goes down inside the rails. That is also very easy to do when I'm standing in the bed rolling it out. ONE SPECIFIC ISSUE and the SOLUTION: My bed liner has a lip over the front rail, plus a tailgate piece that comes up over the tailgate. The sides are bare metal, not covered. So what happened was I had a thin gap between the rails and the truck. It was also a little difficult closing the tailgate after I locked down the tonneau cover. So I bought a 30' roll of 1-1/2" x 1/4" neoprene foam strip ($25) to fill in the gaps on each side. It works perfectly. I didn't expect a super-watertight fit, but the foam strip sealed it all up very nicely. And I can close the tailgate without any real trouble. Bought "Used - Like New" through Prime and it arrived in like-new condition.

I received this tonneau cover today for my Ram1500 crew cab and installed it today. Installation was a piece of cake, very very easy everything except the tools was included in the box. Only tools required are box cutter, phillips screwdriver, and 10mm socket. I must say this tonneau cover is half the price of what dealership would charge and literally equal or better in quality and fitment. See my pictures. There is no rips or sag after installation. It rained right after I installed it and there was no water inside the box. I am very very satisfied with this product and thank God that I did not go to the dealership to pay double the price. Tyger is highly recommended. Shipping was fast as delivered as promised.

Great fit and super easy to install. Installed it in about 20mins solo. Rain water runs off and does not pool. Material is thick and seems to be good quality. Rails are foam lined so will not chaf box. Leaks a little bit through corners. With that being said, we drove for 8hrs in a downpour and everything was dry. Rolls up tight to rear window so the entire box is usable. Great cover for the money. Will buy it again for next truck for sure.

This is a great product, Install was a breeze (6 clamps to install). Zero fitment issues. Top and hardware seem very well made. Can drive 800km on hwy 401 @119km/hr with no issues or worries of clamps coming loose or top flapping too much. Great product for the money. Installed on 2021 Ram Bighorn Crew Cab (New Generation)
