I was looking for a manicure device for natural nails. According to other reviewers, this doesn’t work well on acrylic or gel, which I’ve never used, so I thought I would give it a try on my natural nails. It was a good decision! It was also a good price, which was helpful since I have never used one and only heard of “nail drills” when I searched for emery boards. I couldn’t figure out who would want to drill their nails! It sounded like a torture device! It turned out to be easy and painless. This is a great little manicure kit. I got it yesterday, charged it, and tried it today. It’s very easy to use. The instruction manual told me everything I needed to know to use it, including that it shuts off after two minutes, but you can simply turn it back on. For me, that’s not a problem. It is not faulty if it shuts off after two minutes. It’s supposed to do that. The device has two speeds, and it can reverse directions. I was concerned about vibration, but this didn’t vibrate noticeably to me. I really dislike using an emery board or other manual file because it feels uncomfortable. Filing with this little machine was so much better. It even has a light that shines on the work area. I also used the fine sander to smooth my nails, and then polish them. It was very easy, and the shine is amazing. It is rechargeable through USB. It comes with a cord that has a special end to plug into the manicure tool. The other end plugs into a USB wall charger which is not supplied. Again, for me that was not a problem as I have quite a few of those in the house. The kit comes with 1 grinder to file nails, 2 coarse sandpaper disks, 2 fine nail file boards (look similar to sandpaper disks, but much finer), and 2 EVA polish rollers. It also has a small bag of 10 extra assorted sticker, of the types I just mentioned. I am not sure how long each one lasts or how to order more if I need them. I couldn’t find the information in the Amazon description or in the manual that came with the kit. I’ll keep looking. I charged this in the bedroom overnight. When charging, the device has a light that flashes during charging, but stops flashing and remains on once charged. It’s pretty bright on a nightstand in a dark bedroom. I’ll probably charge it during the day! The first charge took about three hours. I hope this continues working as well as it did on my first try. As of now, I highly recommend this MiroPure kit. If that changes for any reason, I will update this post.

This is rechargeable & reasonably priced, a big plus. It is also an attractive appliance. But he attachments take a very long time to have any effect, & some aren't shaped well for the function, so they don't really work. As an amateur, I don't know why dual direction is needed & the faster speed didn't increase effectiveness.

I have had this since the middle of March and used it about 3 times now. I really like this nail drill and I think it is a really great option if you are not trying to spend a ton of money, It does get the job done but it takes a long time. It doesn't have a lot of power which is to be expected with a $12 drill. With that being said... for it being ONLY $12 it honestly is a nice tool and does work. You just need to be patient and take a little extra time with it.

I was invited to review a product of my choice, at no cost. I was not asked to give a positive review, and if it wasn't good I wouldn't say it was. That being said, I really like it a lot. Of the choices I was given, I chose this nail drill because I have been having problems with my nails. The biggest problem I have is that when I had acrylic nails I would get a fill for $20. After I removed the acrylic nails I was charged $18 for a regular manicure and it seemed they did a sloppy job. I thought they were mad at me taking off the nails during a remodel my husband and I were doing ourselves. So I started doing my nails myself. I also has problems with filing my nails myself and could never get the nails filed without splitting a few days later. I didn't enjoy the task but sure the hell wasn't going to pay anyone $18 to do it. With this RECHARBABLE unit I evenly filed my nails, removed the cuticle, then smoothed out the nails in about 15 minutes. I used olive oil as nail cream when I was done. I missed buffing my pinky and discovered that later that day. I had been surprised on how smooth and shiny my nails were when I found the one I missed. Compared to the others it felt rough due to ridges and made me realize how well this worked on the buffing. I tried before to buff them with the square buffer thing but kept hitting the cuticles and it hurt so I stopped trying to get my nails shiny. All I can say is this thing works great and would make a great gift. It comes with extra replacement files but I don't know where to get more if I need more. I am now going on to the toes. This would be great for home bound elderly. I tried to get a mobile pedicure for my Mom at home, but there wasn't one available for elderly with dementia. I did it myself and it took a very long time. Mom didn't like it. Could have done it faster with this nail file. It would have been much easier on her.

Horrible product. When applying pressure it would stop. Not powerful at all to do anything.

I work in a hospital and can not wear nails or gel. My previous nail drill lasted over 20 years. The quality of the unit itself is made of a lightweight sturdy metal in a cute pink. It is easy to handle whether manicure or pedicure and the reverse rotation allowed me to easily go from right to left. Something my old drill didn't have along with different speeds. The fantastic part of this is the interchangeable (7 in 1) kit. They are more flush to the head so there is no breaking of the roller heads when applying pressure and you are able to easily maneuver in any position. The carborundum grinder is strong enough to use on professional nails but works with my natural nails well. I love the polish rollers as they polish my natural nails and they look even more healthy than before. Whether your nails are professionally done or you are a beginner you will love discovering this great product for the price. I'm so much happier going natural!

It worked 'okay' while it lasted, but 5 years later, it no longer holds a charge (works for a minute then dies).

I like the ease of use, design of the product (its really cute) and the multiple attatchments. This tool works really well on natural nails. I like to use it to prep my nails for gel polish.
