Imperial Cracked Ice Large Canoe. 3Cr13 Steel.

Really good looking knife for the price. It is a little stiff but I think it will smooth out with some use, nice finish solid, two good sharp blades, I have a couple of other canoe knives from high end manufacturers and they really aren't any better than this one and cost much more.

This is my 2nd imperial with cracked ice handle. The first is a trapper style and is a really nice well made knife. This canoe is petty nice looking but is so stiff I broke both my thumb nails trying to get it open. I oiled it with WD40 and then 20wt 3 in one oil and that didn't work. I've been trying to work it in by wrapping the blade with a double wrap of bath towel but after 15min it's still too stiff. The knife is clean and no polishing grit comes out. The trapper is great so I don't understand what's wrong with this canoe?

Nice looking knife but the tension on the blade makes opening this knife much harder than it should be. I should have just purchased a Case.

This is a well made, very good looking folding knife. It came extremely sharp, ready to use. There is no marking on the blades indicating where it was made, but I believe the box said "China". I have no objection to Chinese made products, they are increasingly of high quality, but I'd pay a few bucks more for the same product made in the U.S. This knife is an excellent choice for a multi purpose pocket knife.

Not a quality product,finishes terrible Imperial knives!!!.... if you want a quality knife with excellent finishes and a great price order rough rider knives from ecop they sell them on Amazon. . Amazing knives, Rough riders.

This knife seems well made and the blades have a good finish and a good edge. The knife is easy to open and has enough pressure to keep the blades from closing by accident

I'm generously giving this knife two stars. The knife looks like it was not final polished on blades and scales(sides). This is the first Schrade knife I have bought that is not top quality (I am well aware that these knives are imported). The other Schrades are Oldtimers and an Imperial (as this one is). But where those are well finished, like I said, this one isn't. I will keep it in my office desk for rough chores.
