MediBeads Reusable Neck Rest & Moist Heat Microwave Heating Pad For Neck and Shoulders, 10.5" x 14"

I have to say I love researching here on Amazon before I buy. Most of what I get is what I was hoping to get. There normally are just a few items with little reviews that I take a chance on that disappoints. This item I loved and my mother is in love with. We both have fibromyalgia. She just started using medication this past year to help with the pain. I am in school and going to be a nurse so the really good pain meds will never be an option until I retire. I hear of other people who are in the same boat with their career. Let's face it....the ones that help dull your senses and I don't like taking even the regular pain meds on a regular basis. This one hits that area I have the most trouble with. The moist heat is what it says......It's moist heat. Others claim it but don't have it. I've bought all kinds of these over the years and they wear out quickly. This is made very well! I have had mine for well over a year and this one I bought for mom. Her's is still in as good as when it was new. So they are made right too. When my shoulder is swollen it helps with that pain and I sleep well. Follow the directions on heating these. You don't want it to be too hot. They hold the heat better than anything I've ever used before too. Which is better than constantly running to the microwave. So all around I highly recommend this product. I bought the King that covers the entire back in MdiBead brand as well! I will take that over a heating pad any day. It is AMAZING!

Had one of these years ago. Can’t find too much anymore. Helpful for neck and shoulder pain. Microwave friendly. Would recommend.

This product is much better than the navy Buddy it replaced- This one holds the heat and doesn't burn in the microwave with a 2 minute setting. Its outer material is strong. My only dislike is that it is too small in circumference. I'm petite and it just fits. I will keep this one but will likely also buy their shoulder/neck one to cover more area.

It does exactly what it says it will do - work for 30 minutes. Wish it says worked for 45 minutes or an hour though. It's great because it has a bit of mass so it pushes the heat into your nexck and shoulders and it's also moist. I also have an electric neck heater that wraps around the neck and shoulders + it also sits on the top of the back and chest. it's a little akward looking but it's seriously comfortable. I got it off of Amazon and would recommend it over this if I could only have one as it stays constantly hot for much longer.

My guy suffers from ongoing neck pain, so I got him this as an alternative to taking medication all the time. We pop it into the microwave for about 1-1/2 minutes and it comes out warm and cozy. The neck rest has a little weight to it so it stays where you want it to without sliding around. The heat lasts 10-15 minutes and gives an effective dose of relief.

I purchased this same model (34130) several years ago for cervical issues and have been extremely happy with it. Other bead filled products I have tried give off an unpleasant odor when heated but the beads Bruder uses in this product has no such odor. The moist heat is great and it conforms to the neck very well. Over the years the seams of the product separated in some areas and some of the beads leaked out. After sewing them up a few times I decided it was time to get a new one. I was pleased to find the same model was available on Amazon. When I received it, I immediately noticed it was lighter in weight than my previous model and it was only about 3/4 full of beads which creates voids when it's on your neck. Out of curiosity I put both neck rests on a kitchen scale. My old one which as I stated had leaked a substantial number of beads over the years weighed in at 2.1 lbs. The new one weighed 1.13 lbs or almost half as much. I contacted Amazon to see if perhaps I had received a defective neck rest but they confirmed that it was in fact not defective. It seems that Bruder has decided to downsize their product while increasing the cost. Very disappointing that they would take a great product and make it less of a great product. Less beads means less mass and more frequent reheating. Not sure if I'll keep it or return it. I rate my old neck pad a 5 and this new one a 3 because it's not as good.

My physical therapist recommended this brand and product for my sore shoulders and neck. It is very easy to use, store, and maintain. Love that it can be heated up in the microwave. If you heat it up as much as allowed, it also retains its heat for the recommended therapeutic heat application. My only gripe is that these cannot be put in a washing machine and cannot be washed with warm water. They are hand wash only with cold water and mild soap. This aside, I love this product and have not found anything better and am very thankful every time I use it.

Love all sizes! I have used them for years. I use it as a heat pad. It brings you comfort for warmth in bed, watching TV anytime you feel chilly or just not feeling well.
