AR15 M4A1 1/3 Scale Model Die-cast Replica Gun Non-Firing

UPDATE: Returned for quick and full refund. Case closed, right? Well, yesterday I received a package from Amazon. It contained a new replacement (for FREE) and a hand written note from Jay addressing my comments below and apologizing that I had the issues in the first place. THANKS JAY! Your letter shows excellent customer service; lassy stuff and I really appreciate the free gift to boot.ORIGINAL: Very cool little replica, but be super careful not to put any pressure at all on the pistol grip. I just received my toy gun and was nearly complete with assembly, then, while putting on the butt stock, I mistakenly put just a little bit of pinky pressure on the pistol grip and it fell off. I found the screw....an incredibly tiny, fine threaded machine screw. Now it’s apparently stripped and will not tighten. As an engineer, it always amazes me when a company puts so much quality in an overall product, then makes a weak/ poor connection like this, that makes the finished product unusable. I’e tried several of my repair tracks like lock-tight, tutting. Small piece of tap over the hole to fill the gap and hopefully get the screw to bite. Nothing worked. Now, rather than going thru the hassle of returning, it; I decided to spend $10 more on a variety pack of micro sheet metal screws. Hopefully one will work.

Very cool. It doesn’t stay together as I had hoped. One piece is held together with a spring and it comes off if anyone touches it. But other than that, it’s a nice quality material and well made.

This is a nice little desk top display item. Its very detailed and heavy. Its all metal. Unfortunately, it is also stupid expensive for such an item. The bullets don't fit in the clip very well but they do fit. The assembly instructions are just a bunch or low quality pictures. Fortunately there are detailed assembly videos available on you tube. This SAME item is sold by literally dozens of vendors so don't listen to the marketing that says its the only "real" model out there. This is literally made by one company and repackaged and sold by at least a dozen other companies. They all see for about the same price. Still, it is a bit overpriced but that's not a deal breaker to me.

I read most of the reviews before I purchased this product. There are no instructions on assembly. I did figure it out and it is well built and looks impressive. There are moving parts and even tiny bullets. I know the price before I purchased so I have no problem with the cost. It is a conversation piece on my desk. It is worth the price.

Fun little product. My only complaint is that although my item had a great finish, the fit was not quite up to snuff.

bought it as a gift. Still sitting in the box waiting to be assembled. Great expectations though.

I’m really impressed with the amount of detail of this replica. I love the fact that the charging handle pulls back and the magazine comes out. It’s completely made out of metal so it has some good weight to it when you hold it in your hand. I am super happy with this purchase and I would highly recommend it.
