For many years, I have said daily gratitude prayers, so when I was given The Gratitude Habit my first thought was who I could share this with, not considering doing the exercises myself. I wondered who would benefit most from having a workbook that helps guide a person from negative thought to positive thought. My Christmas list grew.Then this morning, I began reading the book again and decided to list the 100 things I was grateful for. I quickly got to 50 and then I began to really dissect the things in my life I am grateful for. I found myself smiling with appreciation as I did this exercise. I liked the feeling so much that I have decided to do the exercises in the book on a daily basis and see where it leads me to.My favorite quote in the book is:"Don't let the illusion of what you think you are missing cloud the reality of all you have."

Simple and Powerful Way to Remind Us To Be Grateful
I love this gratitude journal and bought 6 of them for Xmas presents. You can start it on any day of the year. There are 5 lines for each day and each week has a topic or question about gratitude to write about. Oprah Winfrey said, "Making a list of 5 things you're grateful for every day will change your life." I've made a daily gratitude list for years, and it has indeed changed the way I look at life and the world in general. This is a perfect gift for a young person, inviting them to develop an attitude of gratitude which will serve them well throughout their lives. It's a great reminder for us grownups as well to ground ourselves in gratitude each and every day.

gratitude as a way of life
I found it a refreshing way to journal and keep gratitude at the top of my daily plans The prompts scattered through furnished new directions for thinking and awareness, and helped me to focus. I also gave some as gifts and they were very much appreciated.

Great book to open up gratitude in your life
I bought 15 of these to hand out at New Years last year and they were great. Think about writing down 100 things to be grateful for and you might feel overwhelmed but once you start the flow, you will be hard pressed to stop at 100 things (well I hope that is true for you as well!). This is a great way to start the conversation inside of yourself with your spirit to buoy it for the inevitable hard times in life.

A great tool for helping to cultivate a gratitude habit
I've only been using this journal/workbook since the 1st of the year, but so far I have enjoyed it! I find myself feeling much more positive after writing down the things I am grateful for each day, and I'm hoping I can actually make this a habit!

Very impressed with the journal it allows me to have a journal to write in whenever I feel like it.After almost one year of using this I can tell you I am much happier. My quality of life is better. I appreciate things much more and all because I started using this every day

It not a bad journal but just not what I thought
Purchased it as a gift. I didn't think it was a paperback journal. I also thought it was the type of journal tthat would allow you to write more than one sentence per day. It not a bad journal but just not what I thought.

Great journal book
I love that there is space in here for just journaling with just enough prompts to help the process of gratitude move along.

I bought this book as Christmas present for a very good friend of mine. Although it never arrived on time before Christmas as I had gone for my holidays by the time it arrived. It wasn't until mid January when I had it in my hands. So I took the time to explore it before I give it to my friend and I loved it. It will take you into a magic journey of self-awareness about we have taken for granted and have not appreciated in the past. I highly recommend this book to whoever wants to create a meaningful and more purposeful life.

I love this gratitude journal. You are invited to write five lines of gratitude 365 days. It's not locked to dates, you can write it daily, or you can write it from time to time.I started listing five things i am grateful everyday, and it's wonderful. It helps me find something to be grateful in my day, even when the day is difficult and dull, and things don't go exactly as i wanted. It can be a nice cup of coffee or a seat at metro, my favorite song on the radio, a smile... anything.There are days when i don't write anything at all, but i keep coming back to my Gratitude journal, because it shows me now beautiful my life is, how rich i am to have my little family, my friends, my little apartment that is warm when it's cold outside, how lucky i am to have the water running, to have the the electricity, the food, air, etc. I love reading what i was grateful for couple moths ago and feel that with every day i have more things to be grateful for.
