This book is incredibly useful and clearly walks through the techniques needed to achieve the results in the book. An additional benefits are the clear pictures where she uses a contrasting color thread on a solid background, making it simple to see her designs. I’m very impressed, and will be looking for more of her books.

Great addition to quilting library
Very well done for a self-published book. I have not yet worked on any of the projects but this seems to be a very good introduction to walking foot quilting by a master free motion teacher. It augments rather than duplicates the two classes on Craftsy by Jacque Gerig (I have not read her book yet.) Day's book includes projects that she will use for on-line classes starting next year but they look they could be produced with her directions alone. Of course the classes will encourage, enlighten, and entertain. Photographs are good.

Worth every cent! Leah Day knows her quilting and is a natural teacher. Examples, instructions, photos, hints...it's all here. I was pleased to see instructions from start to finish. It's all here.

This is a Helpful Book!
I am enjoying Leah Day's latest walking foot quilting and have used some of her ideas with success. She includes a lot of tips and has presented me with ways to quilt both easily and quickly.

Goes with you tube instructions.
Glad to have access through amazon when it was sold out on her website. Have followed the clear instructions and made the rainbow log cabin quilt. Learnt some new techniques. Goes with you tube instructions. More quilts to make in the book than expected. Printing quality was poor, but for a reasonable price.

I really like this book. It goes into great depth about the whole subject of machine quilting with a walking foot, not only giving the basic straight lines but aspirational motifs. I have decided to read and try every suggestion because they all look great. Well done Leah!

Comprehensive
This book has a lot of text which I find hard going but it does cover every aspect of machine quilting with a walking foot from practise squares to stunning finished quilts. Also includes Tips to make life easier and a problem shooting section. It includes lots of quilting designs from quite simple to much more complex ones.
