Reviews all seem to be great or awful - i gave it a go! My hair is bleached but likes to go back to pale gold. I wanted a gentler alternative to wella T18 and the harsh developer. This is like a hair mask. Smells lovely. I was sceptical because the poroduct doesn't look a very dark blue/purple when you squeeze it out. I used a clarifying shampoo then blotted hair with towel then massaged in a few big blobs of the toner and left for 30 mins. My hair definitely looked less gold and more pale blonde. It felt soft too.

Smells gorgeous! Used this after the colour freedom bleach as I've gone from purple to blonde and there was a chunk of orange in the middle section of my hair, which didn't quite lift out. But this toned down the brassiness and the problem area a lot! It hasn't completely iradicated the problem area but has calmed it right down so I feel less self conscious. I was quite skeptical about using it but it's a lot better than before and has also conditioned my hair sooo much! The ends felt all horrible from the bleach but now it's a lot better.

I’m due to see my hairdresser soon, but in between visits I like to tone and refresh my hair. I’ve only ever used purple shampoo before, so when I saw this product I thought I’d give it a try! I wasn’t expecting much, as my hair feels quite warm-toned at the moment, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It hasn’t completely changed my hair colour, but it’s definitely done its job. I have fine hair but a lot of it, so I was worried there wouldn’t be enough product—but there was plenty to cover my whole head. If you have shorter or less hair, you could definitely get multiple uses out of it. It also has a moisturising, mask-like element that left my hair really shiny and soft (with no other products used). One final point—probably the most important—is how tidy the process was! It has a thick, conditioner-like texture, so there was hardly any mess. I’ve tried plenty of at-home dyes and tints that leave splashes of colour all over the sink and walls, but this one was super clean to use.

My hair has gone very yellow and it did tone it a bit. Will repeat treatment. Lots in the tube and smells nice but doesn't work miracles!

It's OK. Not brilliant. Best for the lighter yellow tones. Leave it in for the time it says as it isn't as intense as others. It didn't leave blue on my more porous parts.

Excellent at reducing any brassiness. Left hair feeling soft and good condition even several weeks after last colour.

i would not buy this product i followed all the instructions that it said to do and it did nothing but turn my hair blue. wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

After I read all the positive reviews, I though I would get something good. It honestly made my hair very dry and no difference in color at all.
