Upgraded Sam-Sung Dryer Repair Kit for Samsung Dryer Roller Replacement Kit

The kit had all the components needed to replace the pulleys, belt and spring. Two to three hours start to finish the dryer had all new parts and no more squeaks. YouTube videos provided DIY training and the job went smooth. Not sure how long the replacement pieces will hold up but much cheaper than even a call out fee never mind repair or replacement. Very happy to have found this solution

Our dryer was so loud for no reason all of a sudden. My husband and I (a couple of thirty to forty something year olds) took about an hour to replace every part this kit came with and got our dryer working smooth and quiet. We don’t know what was wrong with it roller versus belt but every part was compatible with our samsung dryer, following a youtube video made it easy. Don’t doubt yourself you can do it too.

Our dryer is 10 years old, and one day began making a high pitched squealing noise. After a couple of days of my wife fussing at me to call an appliance shop to get it fixed...me, you tube and this product were able to get it fixed. Not going to lie, even after watching multiple you tube videos I was extremely nervous to take it apart because I knew I would never hear the end of it if I messed up the dryer trying to save some money. I waited until my wife left to go shopping and seized the moment knowing that I would be alone for a couple of hours. I had my son help me move the dryer into the garage where him and I started to take it apart. We got most of the covers off, and the conscious on my left shoulder started to tell me that I was going to be sleeping on the couch tonight! As more and more parts started to come off the machine, it began to look like I had should've called an appliance repair shop. I even began to put the machine back together again, and that's when it happened. The right shoulder chimed in sounding like Tim Allen and said " your the man of this house, Just do it. Once the drum was out exposing all the wheels, it was obvious what the problem was. On of the wheels had cracked at the bearing causing the hole assembly to lock up. The sound we were hearing was was the dryer drum grinding metal to metal on what was left of the bearing. Swapping out the old parts for these high quality parts was a breeze. Since I had the machine completely apart I decided I should change the belt with the one that was included. Reassembling the machine was easier with my right shoulder conscious telling me the whole time that " your wife is going to be so impressed " ...tonight is going to be a good night. With the machine completely back together it was now time for the moment that would decide my fate for a good nights sleep in my bed or the " I told you to call a professional ". My son and I carried the machine back into the house, hooked up electricity and fired it up. Other than the sound of the motor running, the drum spun as quiet as it ever has. I gave my son a high five and sat on the couch anxiously waiting on my wife to arrive so that I could be her hero. When she walked in the door, I let her settle in and change before I would show her my conquest for the day. As she walked out of the bedroom, I called her into the laundry room and fired up the dryer.....and once again.... it was quiet. She gazed at the machine, and I just waited to hear those magical words....." You're my Hero, great job honey "! She turned and looked at me and said good job and quickly scurried out of the laundry room to her bags of purchases from the store in which she was so eager to share with me. It seems as if my heroic accomplishments of the day were trumped by the sales at target, and how much money she saved me. Regardless of not getting the reaction I was expecting, the parts were a direct replacement and of high quality.

My daughter’s almost 5 yr old Samsung dryer was making a rumbling sound so I read the reviews and bought this tune-up kit. Since I had to remove drum I just decided it replace all parts included. Rollers were a tad different but it said “Upgraded”. They were same circumference but a little beefier. Did not use the spring since ends were not exactly same position, old one seems as strong and did the job. Watch YouTube repairs first makes it simpler on what to take apart. And it’s not as easy as they make it sound. Before you remove drum make sure it not the hamster wheel not spinning properly. An out of balance one can cause a noise as well! Watch the sharp metal edges, ended up with 6 scrapes and lost some 🩸! Rollers took about an hour since they were very tight! I did use grease, as suggested by another reviewer, on the shafts which made them quieter than without it. Tension roller part and screw were exactly the same and was easy to remove and replace. Another difficult process was making sure drum stayed on back rollers while getting the belt around the tensioner while keeping belt on motor pulley! Holding the drum up required another set of hand while my big forearm reached under it to line it up. Took about 5-6 tries but I got it. I’m 65, 6’/320, a bit older and larger than folks in those YourTube videos. Took me a little over 3 hours which included cleaning all the lint in bottom of dryer and out of hamster wheel behind lint cover using a shop vac! Used an old tooth brush on hamster wheel as video suggested. I only gave 4 stars for now until she uses it for awhile to see how the durability of these parts are.

Worked exactly as advertised, fixed a loud grinding sound coming from the dryer. Lots of instructional videos online to assist installation.

Individually bagged. OEM quality and fit. Relatively easy process. Good price, great value. Some videos suggest using the old roller shaft for convenience, but I had no problem with full replacement and the old shafts were gummy. The outer nuts are a standard size, and I used a wrench for the rectangular shaft heads. Pay attention to which screws go where. Also take note how the belt loops completely under the pulley and around the motor, which took some force to squeeze the pulley arm close to the motor to stretch it on. You might get pretty dirty with lint and grease, and there are some sharp edges on the metal and pointy tips on the rear screws facing in. You will need some space for the removed pieces and especially the drum.

This worked out great and had everything I needed to make my dryer work like new again.
