Mastectomy Drainage Pouch and Shower Support, Pink

I recently underwent single mastectomy and DIEP reconstruction. These drain harnesses came in clutch. I had four drains, and the pouch around the neck could easily hold all four of them, even if they were filled. You can wear the pouch around the neck as you shower as well. It also comes with a hip belt that is fully adjustable and comfortable. There are two pouches that can easily hold for drains. I wear this during the day mostly, and would sometimes sleep in it as well. It helps keep everything wrangled and from getting all tangled as well.

This is super helpful, game changer. I had another operation, but I loved this so much. Feels like OK you can survive a week without it, right? But there is so much discomfort in post op, and espessially in having drainage - that those small pouches really add comfort. The bulbs are not pulled out of you in restroom, easier to take shower, or bathroom. Definitely good purchase. I have pj with pockets for drainage - this is much more versatile, pj are not bad, but this is super helpful.

I'm on day 2 of being home from the hospital and had come home with the tubes pinned to my shirt, which pull on the shirt more and more as the collection balls fill up. Pinned they can catch on things, mine caught on the edge on the table when I was standing up and that's when I switched over to this. I have very sensitive skin but the elastic the softer kind and you can adjust the belt easily. The pockets also move, and today I'm wearing the holster style ("pistol packing Mama") , and it's nice to be able to maneuver them to your comfort. They feel so much more secure on the belt and 2 drainage bulbs fit into each pocket. Got the go ahead to have a very quick shower today, but it's still early and I haven't, but the mesh bag is gonna be wonderful bc what else would you do to prevent them just hanging, which you can't do? I'm so glad I got this set and will order one for someone who will be starting this journey in a month.

Wish the belt was a little better made. The shower necklace worked pretty well and dries easily.

Best product for post surgery drains! I am so happy I bought this set before my surgery. The belt with sacks can hold two drain bulbs each; so four total. I normally wear a size XXL and wear this belt as far as it will adjust. However, as you can see in the pictures, it can still stretch pretty far. The belt is very soft and comfortable. I do not have problems with the buckle digging into my skin, in fact I have never felt the buckle. The mesh shower lanyard hangs from your neck and can be adjusted to hang to your waist or at your chest. The strap is soft and does not irritate the skin when you are showing. The mesh sac has two pockets that can fit two drain bulbs each; so four total. Seriously the best thing you can buy to manage your drains. These have made life SO much easier. I have been using them for 3.5 weeks now, the belt 24/7, excluding showers, and the product shows no sign of wear.

I’m giving this 5 stars for the shower pouch. I didn’t use the belt holder but the mesh shower pouch was a life saver. It worked perfect for my four drains. Made showering so much easier during recovery. Worth every penny.

Very pleased with this item.

I purchased but returned the item. I had drains after my surgery that were in for approximately 2 weeks. I wore lightweight cammisoles (Amazom Basics) and pinned my drains on the inside - each side of the camisole. This worked perfectly for me. Because the camis were slim fit, the drains stayed in place. Also, since I could not get my incisions wet (via shower) I had to opt for sponge baths and used another product I found on Amazon (super large, thick adult wipes super amazing product until my drains were removed).
