I ordered a full set of these plates for my home gym and what I received I originally didn't think was possible.The plates had their handle gap areas snapped off and had cracked in certain places. It's almost like they were forged too hot and became brittle. These pose a serious possible hazard if they do snap. Someone could get injured if enough force was involved.The concerning thing for me is that this is even possible. Iron plates like this shouldn't be able to crack and snap in this manner. If you look at the cross section photo they almost appear like chalk inside.For me, these are dead on arrival.

Look elsewhere. The photo is very misleading... almost false advertising.

I've had 8 of these plates for 5 months and they have eaten two of my barbell's sleeves up. Now two of the plates are crumbling away. Pieces near the sleeve holes have broken off and the casting was sandy on two of the plates.I contacted the seller and told them about this and they simply stated they reached out to the manufacturer and since we are beyond amazon's return policy they can't help. I guess when you are selling junk, you wouldn't go above and beyond to stand behind the products you sell. I'll never purchase anything CAP or from Amazin'Seller ever again. Do yourself a favor and avoid buying anything for your home gym through Amazon, it's too big of a risk. Buy from Titan Fitness, Rouge and Rep Fitness directly. Avoid all CAP products, they are cheap, but the quality is really bad.

These weights are inexpensive. I try not spend money in my home gym on the weights themselves so ai can spend money on other functional items that might be worth spending more. FYI, these have a lesser diameter than regulation Olympic plates. This matters for deadlifts but not much else. Get a couple rubber 45s and put them on the bar first for deadlifts. This and a hirse stall mat will be enough to protect your slab if you do heavy deadlifts. Anyway, I received one 45 on one day and the second 45 the following day. I was concerned and contacted seller, but didn't get any reassurance. I've read these are accurate; i.e., actually 45lbs which is a concern with rough cast iron I would think. Maybe research that. Overall, I'm happy.

Only received one 10lb weight at first, but when I contacted sender he immediatly appologized and sent the next plate out to me. USPS was a pain in getting it to me as they held it longer than should have and only sent it to me after I filed a complaint.

Hey - its COVID time...so I can't complain (too much) about price. No real science here...what you see and hope for, you get. Exactly what I was looking for.

They got here quickly. One was broken but the seller quickly sent out a replacement and it was fine. I like the handles on the weights for farmer carries. Great value for the quality of the weights. If I need anymore 45s I’d buy these again.
