LLC First Aid Antiseptic Pine Oil - 8 Ounces

This product is very similar to a product that originated in Wilson, North Carolina, called Pine E. Derived from the oil of a pine tree, this product helps with all types of minor abrasions and my family has used it for years to take pain away from a scratch, cut or hang nail. Trust me, buy it and you’ll find out just how good it is for you and your children.

I was raised with my mom using this and was excited to find it. I always had scraped knees and bites from playing outside. When you use it there is no sting as all. It calms the scrap, cut, itch or bite in seconds! Keeps those accidents from getting infected! My daughter is allergic to biting ants and she stepped in a nest doing yard work. Her legs were covered with bites! She sprayed her legs with this and her legs didn’t swell or even itch. She said she had never had anything work so well!

I use it in conjunction with our homemade anti-tick spray. The Apinol (meaning "a pine oil") is a lighter oil than suntan oil in its viscosity. Yep, you will smell like a pine tree (of course). It works for me when I am clearing brush and mowing my pastures. Majority of insects avoid me. If I do have a barrage of insect bites/stings, light scraps and abrasions, Apinol offers some relief. But having a few beers may also assist ! But I find it best to apply Apinol BEFORE getting into the weeds/brush. Dry skin of knees and elbows benefit if you are spending time outside in dry environs.This purchase was my second time of ordering.A personal historical note: My Dad prepared pine inner bark and knots into a poultice as part of a bandage. This poultice was to heal my very abraded knees due to a nasty skateboard wipe out. I was about 8 yrs old then. It was the only method used that gave relief to such a flexible area. I could note heal well with other methods of that time as I would not stay still very long....HA! The Apinol reminds me of when my Dad did the bandaging. If he were still alive I would have more questions now than those I ever pestered his patience with decades ago.

Love love this stuff. I got to help w mosquito bites. They eat me alive and stuff never works quick enough when you are scratching yourself to death. This stuff works FAST. I also use for so many other things now. It does have a SUPER STRONG smell. I've used this a lot over the summer and the bottle only has a small amount gone. I totally recommend. All medicine cabinets need this stuff. So many uses !
