Like many others have said, this dog food is perfect for fussy eaters ...
Like many others have said, this dog food is perfect for fussy eaters. My dog needed dental work & post dental work - we decided to switch to soft food. He was already on WAG dry food - the grain free stuff & he loved it. Thus, when we switched him to this soft wet food - he's loving it ... it looks amazing, smells - well - like high quality dog food & our dog seems to be loving it ...

So far, my favorite wet dog food.
My dogs aren't particularly fussy about wet food, but I am. Both of my little ones are minus many teeth (they are puppy mill survivors) so I find that the size of the "chunks" is just right for them and they are soft enough that I can cut them very easily if need be. The gravy is not as gelatinous as some other brands and so easier to spoon out. My pups are thriving on Wag and I will continue to buy (the price is also great!).

An Economic Alternative over Purina Pro Plan
Our Lab was being fed Purina Pro Plan slices in gravy which she enjoyed. However, there came a period where this particular recipe became unavailable. Concerned over the erradic cost of wet dog food, I then found the WAG brand by Amazon. (It is too early to fully rate the WAG brand at this time.)The cost per/12 cans appeared much lower than the Purina Pro Plan "equivalent". A case was recently delivered and I must say, our Lab simply dug into it with no hisitation. The consistency of the meaty chunks appeared very good as well as the texture and taste of the brown gravy in veggies.I began introducing the WAG brand along with the Purina label in measured amounts in order to avoid her from having an upset stomach while switching foods. All has worked out well. Her elimination is quite normal and she does not hesitate when the WAG brand is in her food dish. Should this positive trial period continue, I will begin switching over to WAG permanently.(As a footnote, although only having received one order so far, I have found zero dented cans with the WAG case of food vs. numerous dented cans when ordering the Purina One label.)

This food brand and flavor has been great with my dogs with opposite size and appetites.
It is the only thing I fed me dear sweet big boy, Elvis and then when I lost him last September, I had leftovers that I was never ready to get rid of, so it was there when I adopted Ms. Edna in February this year. He was a huge half Rott/half Black Lab and the sweetest but most protective guy about his momma. He loved me so, so very much and he thoroughly enjoyed this food. She is an almost 10 pound shaggy Yorkie who also loves this food. It isn't harsh on her stomach and she adjusted to it just fine with the exception that I add a little shredded bread to it so it isn't too rich for her little tummy. I get three meals from each can for her, whereas Elvis took a full can plus the dry variety of this in Wag every day. This brand and variety has been very good for my dogs and it is mid range in price for a lot of dog food that is out there. I love that this comes right to my door and I can re-order at any time in addition to subscribing.

My dog has never had UTIs before
*****UPDATE****** it’s almost exactly a year since I made this review and my dog hasn’t had a UTI since. I think it was the food.I was skeptical of purchasing this dog food because of some of the bad reviews about dogs having digestive issues after eating this food. But, because of the pandemic and me being a broke college student, I didn’t have many wet food options at the time. Supply chain issues, not being able to get what my dog normally eats, etc. this was super cheap when I first bought it. I thought, why not, I can afford it, the reviews aren’t too bad, and the ingredients look ok.So I purchased a few different flavors of the stews for variety. I’ve been feeding my large, 8 years old, pittie mix this food for a few months now. She seemed to like it. But after a few weeks of being on the food, she got a UTI. I chalked it up to her being considered a senior dog at her size and weight, and maybe as a one off, but she has NEVER had a UTI before I started this food. I wasn’t too worried about it being the food just yet. Then, the price raised a little on the food, but I still couldn’t find her regular food, so I bought it again. She liked it. Now, we are a few months in, and I have found her regular food, so I’ve been alternating between her regular food and this food. Today, I woke up to her licking herself, and a half dried puddle of pee on the floor, that had crystallized into a white glittery pile and some random viscous urine spots with blood in it. This is exactly how her last UTI started a couple of months ago. So I looked at her genitals and sure enough, red, swollen, and blood.I am throwing the rest of this food away. Going to the vet to spend astronomical amounts of money for antibiotics, and staying home to nurse my pup that’s not feeling well. I will update this review in a few months if it seems like the problem clears up after me no longer feeding her this food.

great dog food
This a great dog food. My dog just gobbles it down. I add a little hot water to warm up the gravy.
