Oh Brush where have you been all my life lol . Love this brush. I have whiny 100lb rottie/aussie mix. What that means? Shedding giant. Thanks to this brush, plenty of hair is removed during her bath, and we have less stress during her brush time(she hates it). I dont care much for the shampoo dispenser wasn't practical for me. I put the shampoo straight on the bristles and that was just fine. If this brush had the handle with noslip grip it woyld be perfect.

The ONLY redeeming thing about this brush is the bristles. My dogs love the feel, and while it doesn't pull out loose fur, it does collect it neatly. It also helps lather shampoo down to the skin and give a good scrubbing in the bath. Literally everything else about this brush sucks. It doesn't dispense shampoo, and I followed the directions closely. The lid doesn't stay on...I thought it would screw on but it attaches by a tiny tiny turn which is SO not secure. The whole thing is super slippery when wet and soapy. Since the dispensing function didn't work, I took the lid off to use it to scrub the dogs in the bath because it gave me an inside edge to hold onto. Still SUPER awkward. It does scrub well, and loosens fur in the bath. It's gentle and feels good. It works well as a dry brush (it won't de-shed, but it will gently collect loose fur). I feel like I could have bought a simple shower scalp brush for humans that comes with a handle for half the price. Pretty much a waste of money.

I got this along with the shampoo and conditioner. It worked well for me. Shampoo was dispensed properly. I think I gave my dog the best bath I have ever done. The little bristles really got into the fur and to his skin. My dog is the largest, fluffiest dog ever. And bathing him is a lot of work because of his fur. This tool was so much more efficient and effective. I wish it held more shampoo because I had to refill in the middle. It definitely loosed up his fur. I even think he liked it. I will definitely use this for his next bath.

Doesn’t really work as described. Soap doesn’t dispense as expected and is messy to fill. Better to use just as a brush for washing dog.

I have two boxers, one that loves baths, and one that hates them. They also have very different coats. My youngest boxer has a very thick, somewhat fluffy coat. I've always struggled to get all of the soap off of him, so I was hoping that this would give me a more even soap distribution and more of a lather. I do think it was easier, but the soap was really hard to get out, kind of inconvenient when you're working with an unhappy dog. I loved that it did seem to pull fur off of both dogs, and they both seemed to enjoy the massaging aspect of it. I just wish it wasn't so hard to get the soap to dispense.So the first time using this was great. I left it sitting in the shower and the soap leaked all over my shower. I refilled it and coaxed my hesitant boxer into the shower. I couldn't get soap to come out of this to save my life. I ended up throwing it away. It's a very expensive item to use one time.

Not as easy to use nor any more effective than a cheapo I got at a big box store. I ended up just going back to putting the shampoo on by hand and using a regular brush to bathe the dog.

A good brush to use while bathing your dog. Really works well. Not expensive.

I love furminator products and so do my animals— when used in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner it really does cut down on the shedding and with my cats (we have the cat version too) we’ve noticed less hair balls.I read the instructions and mine is actually broken. The seal along the rim where the bristles meet the tank where the soap goes inside the brush is broken so it leaks soap out and air gets in. But I still use the brush, we just put the soap on our wet water loving dog in the bathtub and rub her with it and she just loves it and loves being scrubbed. It gets a lot of extra hair and twigs and pine needles and debris out and she just loves it.Considering mine was broken and you won’t know until you use it… I would say the value isn’t quite there for this one, but furminator products are very good otherwise.
