It'll cost you £189.95 to own this series and you don't get much else
This series is split into two sections:Section one) "Dragon Ball Z Kai" which consists of four seasons that are comprised of episodes 1-98.Each season is £24.99 which comes to £99.96 if you buy all of them.Section two) "Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters" which consists of three parts that are comprised of episodes 99-167.You can buy all three parts in one box set for £89.99 which is actually cheaper than buying each chapter individually because they're charging each part between £35-£40.At the time of writing this comes to a total of £189.95 if you wish to own the full series. If you can get past the price then this is a great buy... For the most part."Dragon Ball Z Kai" is the series remastered but is still in it's original 4:3 aspect ratio. The only extras you get from this purchase are some interviews with the US cast in the Season 2 extras."Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters" has the aspect ratio of 16:9 and they did this by zooming in the show until the sides of the show touched the edge of the T.V. This means there is a little area that is cropped from the top and bottom of the screen and there is no way of changing this. The only extras with these are three video commentaries from the US cast for the episodes 112, 131 and 157.Overall you'll be paying a lot of money for a series and not much else but if you're only after the series that this is great for the quality alone.

It's PAL format
Despite the listing saying NTSC format, this is definitely PAL (see picture). Purchased from AMAZON August 20222, I guess some of the third party sellers may have the different format. Can also confirm it plays fine on an old PS3.FINAL FLASH!

For fans of the anime
Dragonball manga is nr.1 for me but anything else Dragonball I cant get into no matter how mch I try and I really really tried here to but it is trying to hard. And this contains the best episodes of this series of all Dragonball Z Kai I bought. I just stick to my manga collection regarding Dragonball.

A Good Adaptation to the Androids/Cell Arcs
Covering the end of Goku's battle with Frieza, Trunks' first appearance and the Androids/Imperfect Cell sagas, Season 3 is pretty well paced and enjoyable. Just like the first 2 seasons, the voice acting for both English and Japanese is brilliant. Anyone who remembers the original Z will know that the Androids and Cell arcs seem quite plodding, with a lot back and forth tactics, slow progress and being anticlimactic in parts, but in Kai, this is alleviated a great deal and it improves the story a lot.

The Androids Arrive!
You can't beat Dragon Ball Z Kai. In this season, Frieza returns to Earth looking for revenge. Only this time, he has brought his father King Cold along too. Then, the androids arrive. The android arc is really good.Overall, I had a blast watching this and can't wait to watch the next one.Recommend to all fans of Dragon Ball.
