So far so good...
We've used this for a month now. It works great. Good product for the price. Just be careful not to get branded with the long bars.We will be buying another for backup.

I WAS GIVEN PRODUCT INFORMATION REQUESTS THAT WERE NOT POSSIBLE
I started having problems 1-2 days after starting to use it. It started with the sealer getting so hot it was making the sealing seams so weak they leaked. I started turning down the temperature from a setting that worked on 120 to 150 mylar bag sealings. Like I said it worked at my initial heat settings for 120 to 150 sealings. When it started getting too hot so I cut down sealing time from 2 seconds to less than 1 second and it still kept melting the seams. I then started to try different settings and finally ended cut down the temperature from just under 145 degrees C. to about 125 degrees C. dead center between 100 and 150 degrees C. It worked at first but after the temperature control turned off at that setting it would not turn the heat back on again unless I wiggled the temperature control knob. There was no contact information at all on Amazon to contact the manufacturer, Vevor. There was no contact info in the very limited instruction booklet. I finally found Vevors website that had a "contact us" provision. I filled out a "contact us" email and wrote the full model number and product description, and a DETAILED description of what was wrong. Then they email me back and want the same information that I just gave them. They then send another email wanting a list of about 10 items including what I already wrote them. They also wanted pictures but the picture size limit had to be less then 30mb. I spent 2-3 hours trying to find the information they wanted THAT DID NOT EXIST IN ANYTHING I HAD ACCESS TO. I took 6 or 7 pictures and made sure they were between 20 and 25mb and no more. I filled out as much information as I possibly could find and tried to up load the pictures, but no matter what I did it only let me upload 3 pictures and it would not accept a word doc. or pdf. files. After all this and spending 2-3 hours on a goose chase, I realized they made it so difficult to get service as they could and just wanted me to go away. So I told them to forget it all I am sending the sealer back to Amazon. They sent me back an email saying they were sorry and that Amazon would give me credit if I returned it. So they did just want me to go away.

Love it Works Great!
Definitely just what I was looking for, with the exception of being made in China. But that is hard to avoid these days. In my experience unless you're Apple computers and can oversee the whole process, having a consistent product come out of China is very difficult so that may explain others' bad experiences. But the unit I received has worked well and done a great job so far!

Excellent technical support from the seller.
When I switched on the machine for the first time, something went wrong and part of it generated a lot of heat and stopped working.I sent the query to the seller and they quickly sent me the replacement. Now I am happy for a sealing machine of very good quality.Recommended seller.

A far cry from what was anticipated
This was very difficult if not impossible to control the temperature were it was either to cool to melt the plastic or to hot and it melted the sealing sections right off the sheet.

Easy to use
I have been using this to seal foil lined kraft paper coffee bags and it does a fantastic job! It only requires 150 degrees F for about 5 seconds to create a strong seal.My only complaint is that the set screw for the temperature dial was loose, so the dial actually came off before I had a chance to use it for the first time. It was an easy fix with a screwdriver, but I don't know what I would have done if I had lost that screw. I feel like I shouldn't have to tighten screws on a brand new machine. Since fixing that one issue, I have been completely happy with this machine.

Uneaven heating: melts plastic on ends, fails to seal in center
The bars heat unevenly, so they melt the plastic on the outer 3-4 inches on both sides and fail to even seal in the middle. Problem exists on all settings. Should have read the other reviews. Returning
