Since installing this we get a temperature change when someone else in the house uses water. Is this normal? We didn't have this problem before...

Your water heater was drained off water or you have air in the pipe. Please follow water hammer removal procedure and then try. More details are needed for a better detailed solution.

Is the diverter removable without breaking plastic clips as it appears to snap in even with Allen head loosened?

Yes. I was able to remove mine and re- clock it. Don’t go prying on anything and make sure tha Allen screw is far enough out. (Any doubts about the screw…. Just remove it completely but cover your drain just in case!)
